So inflate home price, sell home to Blackrock, retire to the Philippines. And be just like the Boomers that put us here.
If folks aren't willing to pay attention and do something about the situation in the USA, might not be a bad option in all honesty... Sure, President Trump is a reprieve from full steam ahead globohomo, but if the ship isn't turned around in 3.5 (or even 7.5) years from now and the Dems get a majority, it's gonna be ugly...

IF this Iran thing turns into a full scale war, then the US economy is most likely cooked. Trump seems to be escalating things in order to pull back at the last second, how he usually postures the opposite direction of what he really wants. Hopefully he doesn't want war and will be able to keep the USA out of this one...

As dawn is about to break in Tehran, is it safe to say that we are out of the conflict for at least another evening?
Trump was supposed to go on TV to speak tonight on the conflict but that was canceled. It makes me think that either 1) he's having second thoughts about getting the US more involved after some signs that he was starting to warm towards supporting the Israeli attacks or 2) there's some sort of secret plan he's carrying out which could range anything form shipping those bunker busting bombs that Israel has been calling for to use against the underground Iranian nuclear facilities to God knows what.

Has anyone mentioned anything about the Obama connection to Iran in all of this? I’ve seen a lot of discussion but this particular topic seems to be memory-holed.

Recall that Obama gave Iran 1.7 billion in cash:

I don’t like the idea of this war and doing Israel's bidding at all. But I do wonder if there is something else that is going on that Trump is not mentioning for specific or classified reasons. A lot of what Trump has done in the past seems to be deliberately undoing a lot of Obama’s initiatives. So I wonder if allowing Israel to go this route effectively neutralizes a lot of that 1.7 billion investment in Iran.

off-topic derail
One city gets bombed and Israel won't exist? What are you talking about? Are you hallucinating? Make real posts about real things or you'll be thread banned.
He was speaking in future tense. This is still the beginning of this active conflict and it could go either way depending on a number of factors. He might not have it figured out but neither do you or anyone else here. I see nothing bannable or against the forum rules for anyone making commentary on a volatile active situation that is changing by the minute.

Obama, Trump, Biden and Trump all followed this 2009 plan, as explained many times by Brian Berletic. Full continuity of agenda since 2009:

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei just gave a speech. He alluded to the fact that they have weapon technology that the west does not realize they have. He didn't go into any more details than that. He said they suspect the USA has been helping Israel, but they will not attack the USA or USA interests unless the USA openly attacks Iran. Signaling he does not want a conflict with the USA but will continue to attack Israel until some cease fire is agreed to. Putting it all on Trump to be the one who decides if we go to war.

By accepting Brooking Institute's white paper premise, you would be accepting the bitter pill that the 2 party system is just kabuki theater to manage energy of voters of both parties. That is not an easy pill to swallow if you are currently living in America and the system...

Exactly. See how this all works? Getting everybody confused and flip flopping and switching alliances day in and day out, year after year. It is actually quite funny to see young conservative redpilled men in 2025 adopting stances of early 1990's feminists. A glaring one is on diet and nutrition. In the early 1990's young women were screaming about microplastics and chemicals in our food supply and water bottles and conservative men were mocking them for being paranoid and overly health conscious. Now young conservative men are all buff, eating organic foods, and drinking out of $30 glass bottles. Lol. In addition, in the early 1990's young feminists were siding with Palestine over Israel while conservative men mocked them for being anti-American, yet now in 2025 we have conservative men adopting the same pro-Palestinian stance as the feminists of the early 90's. Strange times. And so it's no surprise that after years of bashing AOC you now find yourself on the same side of the pro-Iranian/anti-Israel fence. All part of the ongoing Lucy pulls the football away again, JQ switcheroo psyop.

I'm not Pro-Iranian, I'm anti-war - big difference.

And thank you for the compliment, but I am no longer a young man :D

So far I see Israel waging a successful military campaign.

The conclusions I'm coming to:
  • $500 quadcopters and trench battles are not the future of warfare as is claimed due to the Ukraine war.
  • America and allies are the only ones that seem to be learning from the Ukraine war, operations are more streamlined and advanced.
  • This war reflects poorly on Russia as expected.
  • Looks like the Biden administration was holding back Ukraine in regards to special ops.
There's going to be a domino effect here, we might get to China sooner than expected, although it's not clear to me what a war with China would be about; fishing rights? cold war 2.0? a Palpatine and Galactic Empire situation after the collapse of Russia?

True when one side is vastly technologically superior to the other.
