Why do people complain about these Somalis, 80% of the government is a scam and nobody worries about it. If people tolerated it in 1965, why do they pretend to be shocked now. Back then it was the same blatant injustice.
Government assistance. Its very existence is corruption manifest. It's a disgrace, it's most perverse.
The people who shamelessly seek handouts are thoroughly corrupt, crooked individuals. Those who want the country to have it are also corrupt to the bone- morally and in every possible way- the poor need resources and services you greedy fascist. The language employed in the discussion is distorted and corrupt.
Where is equality and justice when bad people get all their bills paid for and then some, while the honest folk go bankrupt. It's discriminatory to treat people differently, and the harder you work the higher your tax bracket, while the payout gets bigger the bolder the scammer gets.
When will AI replace the government bureaucracy? They have job security while other people are afraid.
With low taxes you could donate to your church, which would do some actual vetting of the needy, cheating would be hard in the long run, any schemes devised by dishonest pastors wouldn't last long either and their impact would be limited, the Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago I hear about on the radio helps the homeless, but they must be actively looking for work upon admission.
If anything, there should be labor camps and farms run by the government where you could go to work for food and a place to sleep, and to gain work experience. Like a hobo or something.
As far back as I can remember, I've been seeing those taxi companies that do nothing but carry junkies, enrolled in government programs, to methadone clinics, or bring food stamp recipients to supermarkets, or drive those on Medicaid around.
Public education, transportation, free school lunches for young thugs and their parents. It's all a giant scam but perversely these so called services count as GPD.
The welfare system bureaucracy exists to keep the scam going, not to verify anything. Just show us something- anything, we don't care- to prove you need "resources", ok, good, next. Their existence is justified as long as the need is there, they need the poor, and there's never too many. Who's gonna audit the government, their own insider inspectors.
The refugee card gets you everything, I knew an Albanian who lived in government housing but owned a pizzeria at the same time, close to the church I used to attend. They'd go to Mexico, discard their passport and show up at the border as victims of Serb persecution. None had ever seen a Serb, they lived as illegals in Italy or Greece, or other Western European countries before trying their luck in the US. Immigration attorneys couldn't disprove their claims, the Albanians would brazenly lie to the court and make up Yugo war sob stories.
The federal government administers very little of the welfare state. It has created and funded hundreds [I think thousands if not tens of, NSOE] of these “nonprofits” to do the work for them, and they see their jobs as protecting and expanding Medicaid fraud, not policing it. So that $1.1 trillion that DOGE has discovered is probably an underestimate:
There’s an article on Breitbart with a paywall that announces the DOGE has uncovered $1.1 trillion in “improper” Medicaid payments over the past ten years. As Bill Clinton would say, it all depends on what the meaning of improper is. A former colleague of mine at Loyola University Maryland...

This is from 1990:
... most nonprofit service organizations depend on government for over half of their revenues; for many small agencies, government support comprises their entire budget. In contrast to the traditional relationship of two independent sectors, the new relationship between government and nonprofits amounts to one of mutual dependence that is financial as well as technical; increasingly, the lines between public and private are blurred. For instance, a recent survey of the Child Welfare League of America concluded that government support comprised, on average, 59 percent of their member agency revenue in 1986. On the other hand, government relies on nonprofits to provide social services. In l988, fifteen Massachusetts state agencies were budgeted to spend
over $75O million, about 7 percent of the state budget, to purchase from over 1,200 contractors such services alcoholism rehabilitation; family crisis intervention, English-as-a‑second‑language, and daycare. Overall, the state recognizes 200 distinct types of social services in its purchase-of‑service system.
The expansionof government contracting with nonprofit agencies calls the prevailing view into question. In the recent period, government has used nonprofit agencies to expand the boundaries of the welfare state in the United States in a host of service categories - from child abuse to domestic violence to homelessness. The result is a welfare state that is more expansive than would be the case if policy makers relied solely on the public sector.
If you search the internet for the 'community action agencies' in your state, and check their leadership and staff, you'll see a bunch of democrats who are totally invested in perpetuating the grift. This is their life and livelihood. They're not there to vet anybody, but to make sure the funds keep flowing smoothly. They're all in this together, the office people and their clients:
