Christian Morality Thread

I clarified but of course it was ignored by you because it didn’t fit your narrative.

Believing homosexuals are worthy of death is biblical and not some fringe Westboro belief.

Further context:

Wrong. Not all sins are capital crimes.

Please read the Bible before making these condescending ignorant takes.

As for the Pastor’s comments, it should be taken with a grain of salt and seen in its context, that the proper function of the government is to execute them, not some advocation of vigilantism.
I see your clarification. Agreed.

This is your interpretation. Other traditions (like the Orthodox Christian view) believe all sins are equally sinful and all must be repented for. This is my problem with the sola scriptora take. Pulling one verse or two verses devoid of context is not going to convince someone who is a more critical thinker beyond the immediate comment.

A sodomite and an adulterer and a thief and a gourmandizer and a murderer and a liar are all going to be denied salvation if their sins are not reported for.

Let me ask you something: is it just for us to round up all the sinners who commit sodomy and put them to death? What about adulterers? What about thieves?

The wages of sin are death. We all sin thus we all deserve death. That's why Jesus came and defeated death by rising up from the dead. I'm assuming you've heard of that.

Didn't Jesus say something about casting stones? Or was that someone else ... I can't remember I've never read the Bible according to you.

So we have different views on sins, I believe some are worse than others although of course all are shameful and offensive to God.

Regarding who we can round up, that’s up to the government, as instituted by God. The Bible lists sodomy and adultery in the Old Testament as capital crimes but stealing as a crime people were to make restitution for. Our government doesn’t use capital punishment except in extreme cases. I suppose this is reasonable considering adultery can be forgiven as opposed to ending a marriage, which could be part of the reason Jesus allowed the adulteress to live. As for sodomites our (((globalist))) masters wanna shove their agenda down our throats along with other woke garbage, so it becomes a bit harder to sympathize when there is little redeeming qualities for them. That being said, God will be the final judge for everyone.
