The China Thread

Let's explore China, together. Two problems. Asians are racist against protein. Problem 2: The Chinese use by the piece, retarded menus. So we'll have to try our best.

You're in GZ or is this a virtual exercise? My wife and I have been going to North GZ to Sunac Mall for Indoor Snowboarding almost every month since the Spring this year.

I have an opinion thats controversial. Korean BBQ is better in China than in Korea and America.

Also...Racist against protein? How dare you!

@Sandalwood Peak

Ok I just caught up with the last page. Go ahead and check HSR tickets from Hong Kong to GZ North, hotel rates at Steigenberger Guangzhou, pick any random restaurant meal at the Sunac mall (they're targeted for the Middle Class+), and Sunac Indoor Snowboarding lift tickets. The standard of living is so dirt cheap that I cannot help but laugh at the nay sayers in disbelief.

There is a reason why record numbers of Hong Kong cross the border to Shenzhen every weekend and its the result of the Dual Circulation strategy...

I have an old uncle who spends a lot of time in Tsjainah and loves it for work but could never live there as the cultural divide is just too large.

Any boots on the ground there now who can comment on this?

This parade is a very strong message to the US that the Chinese are ready for war, should the US be foolish enough to provoke one.

LOL, imagine our diversity military and H-1B visa technology going up against China. Now imagine 30 years down the line, when China's technology has vastly improved from this and the USA is a Indian run country with a majority population that is sub 95 IQ.

US is too broke for even a showdown with China after failing to win over even India. Han Feizi will likely be proven correct as he called it in May.

Unfortunately that means bad news for Latin America and the Domestic front soon as those outdated weapons will need to find a use somewhere.

Politico: Pentagon plan prioritizes homeland over China threat

Han Feizi: Asia without America, Part 3, Liberal Taiwan in a Realist World.

Here is a sneak preview of Taipei as the PLA coaxes Taiwan into the Celestrial Empire. :)

It didn't used to be like this before covid and in fact it used to be very rough that people would tell you to stay away from certain areas. The transformation into a high-trust society happened near the end of covid.

Personal story. My wife had left her purse at a dessert shop in a mall in SZ. She had walked around for at least an hour before realizing she left it behind and when she went back, the table she was sitting at was completely untouched as if it was store policy.
