Chances are you'll be deployed in government housing. So you're making 90-120K on top of free housing, food, healthcare, etc. Do that for 10 years and you can retire.
Of course the Trump gravy train might not last that long. Even taking 4 years can net a solid 300k+ in the bank. Plenty of options open with that and you can also go overseas if need be.
I would hazard a guess that age matters less than being in good shape.

That actually looks pretty decent, my only concern is the base rate is still quite low at 50 K, yes they get bonuses or can get bonuses and get can get paid up to 125K
