When my engagement broke off I was 30 and dated a 19 year old from the gym, it was a complete and total unmitigated disaster. We had absolutely nothing in common and despite her impressive physical appearance there was no attraction to her whatsoever because it was like I was talking to someone from a different planet. The girl probably would have been happy if I bought her a Barbie, she had the maturity and mindset of myself as a toddler.
@Australia Sucks Beyond any of that, marrying 16 year olds was accepted back in the day because people died at middle age and even beyond that if it's acceptable in another culture it isn't acceptable in YOUR culture so what they hell are you doing?! You have issues within yourself that you need to sort out, you need to better yourself before you have any business thinking about starting a family.....I know that isn't what you're actually doing but even if giving you that you're still wrong. Doesn't matter how low the bar is lowered for you.

Well, this thread is tl;dr quite frankly. If I might offer my wisdom, I strongly recommend NOT wife hunting in foreign lands. I have lost count of the number of times their angry husbands have chased me down the street.

One thing we look past is if the girl chooses you or wants to be married (to you). This is difficult in the modern age given cultural propaganda and the perception women have of not wanting to or having to marry at young ages.
We are aware that's how you feel. While I am truly not taking sides, I'd say you should stay away from calling people "worthless".

You're right I take it back, men without guidance from Christ as worse than worthless.....they are poison to themselves and everyone around them.
We recently had a guy trying to justify prostitution and now there's a guy trying to justify a type of marriage that would be illegal in most parts of the US. Thankfully there's lots of guys shutting these sort of ideas down but why is this happening so much in recent days? Notice that this keeps happening in threads of a certain type.
I'm all about marrying a younger woman, but 16 is way too young my dude (especially in today's world). I would get rid of that idea and start trying to meet women in a more genuine way. It helps if they already know who you are before you approach.

Morroco, if you're open to Muslim or Arab women. I met a lady from there recently. I found her very attractive, feminine, and sweet. And she told me how much better Moroccan women are than American women, how less selfish they are, and that they make better wives. She said American men come to Morroco for the women.
