Excellent commentary. I've been meaning to read an Orthodox commentary for some time (beyond just the Orthodox Study Bible). I was looking into Blessed Theophylact's commentary, which is harder to find and more expensive, but I went with this one and I am not disappointed. I believe Blessed Theophylact and St. John Chrysostom are two of Archbishop Averky's main sources for his commentary, which is probably one of the easier-to-read ones out there. This (or another good commentary book) are essential reading for Orthodox Christians.

I got the audiobook of St Theophylact's commentary on Matthew through a free trial on Amazon. I believe much of it is based on St. John Chrysostom's own commentary but it is more approachable for laymen.

I've been meaning to start it soon, but there's just so many books I want to read.
