This thread started as a discussion about lust and shame. I shared a quote to remind myself and others to remain strong, citing the source. Somehow this has led to a critique on the life of the man this quote is taken from. As valid as this criticism might be, I might suggest you start a separate thread if you want to continue that discussion.

The chase of clout money and fame is the path straight to hell and a demonic deception. Above a certain income happiness does not increase and in fact people are presented with more and more temptation, which is near impossible to resist.

It's largely true, if not entirely, that money just increases/accentuates whatever you already are.
