I saw on a video on youtube about how Elon wanted USAID dismantled because USAID gives the U.S.A. soft power/political influence in other countries and if the U.S.A. withdraws its aid China will fill the void meaning China then gains that soft power/political influence in other countries. Elon does a lot of business in China. By Elon indirectly helping China increase its political influence in other countries the Chinese government will look upon Elon favorably and will thus regulate him in a favourable manner and support his companies, etc.
I am not sure how much truth there is to that argument but its an interesting theory at least worth considering.

This sounds like silly youtube chatter. Is spreading radical gender ideology to every country on earth really softpower? And would this get past Trump? And the agency hasn't been abolished. The small part of it that actually does something useful - like give food and medical care - is still working. I don't think Elon objects to food and medicine. That's not his target. It's the ideology.
Mike Benz gives a good interview. Around 30 or so minutes, he’s describing the coup in Bangladesh, the funding of rap groups to create songs that criticize the gov, legitimizing LGBT and minorities to use as foot soldiers, etc.
Tucker makes the obvious observation, that the tactics he’s describing is what happened here in the US, BLM riots, etc. Same color revolution playbook. Clear to many of us, but the normies and NPCs still have their heads in the sand.
So the only way to stop China from taking over the world is doing what ? Promoting buttsex in Uganda, or gender inclusive language in Sri Lanka ? Or maybe funneling millions of dollars to BLM, via Soros, to burn down our own cities ?
But on a serious note. If a country, any country, is concerned about growing Chinese influence in their media/social media sphere, they can just introduce legislation that would ban foreign interests from doing so.
