You're very likely right, but it makes me wonder how long all of this has been going on. I'm sure that USAID has been sending money to lots of hard core leftist organizations for a long time, but I assume this was ramped up tremendously under Biden.I guess the PKK couldn't survive without the USAID funding.

However, the PKK has existed for a long time, going back before 9/11, and possibly before the first Gulf War. Has the US been funding them for decades to undermine Turkey? If so, I can't see how Turkey could possibly accept this.
Also, how many other leftist causes have been secretly funded under both Republican and Democrat administrations over the past 30-40 years? DOGE has been digging these things out of the current budget, but they ought to go back and find out just how long all of this has been going on.
USAID was created in 1961 by JFK. Initially, it was supposed to be for actually helping support democracy in other nations, but it morphed into a tool for the US State Dept and Intel agencies to overthrow other countries and install pro-US dictatorships or regimes. That started probably in the early 80s.
Which is an excellent argument for getting rid of the IRS and all of the money they extract from us to fund anything else that does not benefit the people. Government can't be trusted with any of it.

They are probably almost all guilty of money laundering on a massive scale, so it's best for them to stay quiet, especially as they have other countries and (((rich people))) still "donating" to them.
I would guess they have a lot of money squirreled away in the instruments they normally use to hide monetary trails and will deploy them against the Trump administration at some point.
