I bought this up once and got banned. Most common response was “cos we’re not like them, and it’s a misdemeanor here.” “The land was stolen more recently so we’re proud of our melting pot”
Wasn’t Singapore a literal Imperial Chinese colony? Stolen. And I believe Russia has a similar history to America - the drive East instead of West. But I feel like the Russian Orthodox background led them to treating the natives a bit better.

However, in this case, I tend to believe that the owner of the restaurant in this episode was a greedy Israeli jew, who is stealing cash from his own workers, and eventually we got his comeuppance
