Would it not be that an illegal immigrant cant buy a gun legally? That's how I took it....if it were some sting operating and he was buying a gun off the street I feel like that would have been a sticking point in the story.

The NYT reports that Trump has signed a secret Directive to the Pentagon on the use of military force against the cartels. The current rumour is that DJT is becoming increasingly impatient with especially the Mexican and Venezolean attitude and progress on the fentanyl/ cartel problem, in short not much is happening.
