Traditionis Custodes was based on lies / Liturgy Restoration thread

The rationale Pope Francis gave us 4 years ago for restricting again the Holy Roman Mass (Tridentine Liturgy, TLM, Vetus Ordo, Extraordinary Form, etc.) was that it caused too much division within the Church, blaming lay Catholics and that Summorum Pontificum didn't work well so it would be wiser to lift it up. Neocons eat all this and will call you a schismatic or sedevacantist for naturally moved by the sad state of liturgy.
However as of July the official report used for this decision was leaked, identified as N.03/2020-ED, and the quantitative data contradicts what we were told.

the text clearly shows that Traditionis Custodes disregarded and withheld what the report said about the peace Summorum Pontificum had restored, and turned a blind eye to a “constant observation made by the bishops”— that younger people were being drawn into the Catholic Church through this older form of the liturgy.

Where liturgical peace is lacking, the report shows it stems more from a level of nescience, prejudice and resistance of a minority of bishops to Summorum Pontificum than from any problems originating from those drawn to the traditional Roman liturgy.

Conversely, the report found that “the majority of bishops who responded to the questionnaire, and who have generously and intelligently implemented the MP Summorum Pontificum, ultimately express satisfaction with it.” It adds that “in places where the clergy have closely cooperated with the bishop, the situation has become completely pacified.”
According to the report: “The majority of bishops who responded to the questionnaire state that making legislative changes to the MP Summorum Pontificum would cause more harm than good.”
Based on its findings, the report predicted that “weakening or suppressing Summorum Pontificum would seriously damage the life of the Church, as it would recreate the tensions that the document had helped to resolve.”

The moral justification of Traditionis Custodes was always weak given the positive fruits that have come from the traditional Roman rite, its growing popularity, especially among the young, its influence on the family as the “domestic church,” and its ability to attract vocations. This new discovery of the CDF’s overall assessment of its consultation of bishops concerning Summorum Pontificum serves to cast further doubts on the foundation and credibility of Traditionis Custodes.

We can only hope Pope Leo does something about it in the next years and give a break to all the faithful Catholics used to The Mass which has been traditional in Western Christianity for centuries.

Vatican grants permission to St. Margaret parish in Texas to celebrate the TLM, requested by local bishop. I don't get why did the bishop needed a higher permission when Traditionis Custodes states the diocesan bishop is the authority on this matter, but this is good news regardless and is a sign on Pope Leo's direction.

We must not despair and at least ask to our respective diocese. I don't have high hopes with my bishop but I'm planning to write him a letter.

Searching for the case of some countries and alternatives.
American people have it easier with so many TLM options, assuming the list isn't outdated, plus more than 100 SSPX chapels. And there are more than 20 Eastern Catholic communities who use Byzantine rite.
In the Anglosphere (and apparently Japan for some reason) you can find the (Ordinariate) anglican use of the roman rite a.k.a the Divine Worship Mass which I have been told it's pretty and reverent.

In Mexico the SSPX has around 40 chapels, mostly in the center zone of the country, and the FSSP has 4. I don't know the case of any normal diocese in all the country that celebrates it.
There is a Melkite Greek Catholic eparchy of Byzantine rite in Mexico City

Spain has 11 SSPX chapels and had 20+ supported by Una Voce, but this may not be the case anymore with T.C. In Toledo they still celebrate the Hispanic (Mozarabic) Rite.
