Vance’s Bible is a family Bible that belonged to his maternal great grandmother presented to him by his “Mamaw” on September 22, 2003, the day he left home for the Marine Corps,
The Bible is a King James Version published by Thomas Nelson and Sons. Love US Grant is looking on.

Edit.

Donald Trump just signed a wave of game-changing executive orders.

This includes:

1. Rescinding 78 Biden-era executive actions, orders, and memoranda.

2. Implementing a regulatory freeze to halt new regulations until full control of the government is achieved.

3. Freezing federal hiring, with exceptions for the military and other specified categories.

4. Requiring all federal workers to return to full-time in-person work immediately.

5. Directing every federal department and agency to address the ongoing cost of living crisis.

6. Withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement, saving over a trillion dollars.

7. Sending a letter to the United Nations to formally announce the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement.

8. Restoring freedom of speech and preventing government censorship of free speech.

9. Ending the weaponization of government against political adversaries of the previous administration.

Hey fellas,

Let's try to keep this a bit more organized. Things about Trump should go in the Trump thread, things about the people who work for Trump go in this thread, and things not related to either should go in their specific threads, such as the J6 thread.

It's very interesting that the major tech CEOs were front and center at Trump's inauguration. By all appearances, they're with Trump. Or is Trump with them? They obviously have their own agendas and are mostly concerned with making money. But this is such a shocking reversal from just a few years ago that you can't help but wonder what exactly is going on. By my estimation, they seem scared. It's like they know something is coming and they want to position themselves and their companies as advantageously as possible to survive it. Why do they all feel the need to be so transparently cozy with the incoming U.S. president? Is it really just a naked effort to curry favor? Are they hoping to avoid the wrath of Trump's DOJ and any investigations to their misdeeds during the shameful years of the Biden regime? Or is it something bigger than that? Do they feel a confrontation with China is coming, and that the best hope for the U.S. is to win that war is to essentially integrate the Silicon Valley elite into the executive branch? Or maybe their concern is with the advancement of AI, and a belief that the coming AI arms race can only be won by uniting the technical expertise of Big Tech with the bottomless resources of the U.S. government in a Manhattan Project style arrangement.

I honestly don't know what to make of it. But I think that years from now we'll look back on the tech CEOs presence there today as having been the harbinger of things to come.

I honestly don't know what to make of it either when I noticed the tech bigwigs showed up at the inauguration. Others are concerned too.

I've learned to just be happy with the good things that will come from Trump back. But he is not some savior, and seeing the reptilian tech scum there is a big red flag.

I don't trust any of these politicians anymore, conservative or not.
