In the Pokrovsk direction, fierce fighting continues a couple of kilometers south of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. Russian troops have become active in several areas at the same time, getting closer and closer to the Pokrovsk agglomeration.
To the east of Novohrodivka, Russian troops advanced along the forest belt near Mykolaivka in the direction of Myrnohrad. Earlier, during October-November, dozens of counterattacks on the positions of the Russian Armed Forces near the railway were carried out by the forces of the 425th Separate Assault Battalion "Skala" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were repelled with varying success. But as soon as the battalion was transferred as a "fire brigade" to the Shevchenko sector, progress was immediately achieved in the area, as the Ukrainian units transferred to replace "Skala" have a worse level of equipment and training. Therefore, we can expect further development of the successes of the Russian Armed Forces north of Novohrodivka in the future.
In Shevchenko, the presence of the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces was noted in the area of the local school, which was fired upon by enemy armor at point-blank range. Judging by the weather, the events took place at least two weeks ago, and it is not yet possible to say for sure how the line of contact currently runs in the village.
At the same time, in neighboring Pishchane, one of the largest mines of the Ukrainian steel holding Metinvest for the extraction of coking coal has been stopped. Although the enterprise created reserves of raw materials in advance and evacuated personnel, in the long term the loss of coke production may have a significant impact on enterprises of the Ukrainian defense industry."

In recent days, Russian troops have managed to achieve significant success in Kurakhove. Fighting also continues on the Uspenivka - Kostiantynopolske line, where the enemy is trying to contain the advance of the Russian Armed Forces.
In Kurakhove itself, units of the 5th Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces thwarted another Ukrainian counterattack on two armored vehicles near a garage cooperative on Zaporozhye Avenue by installing minefields. One armored vehicle was destroyed, the second retreated in a westerly direction. After clearing the Roevsky elevator near the southern shore of the Kurakhove Reservoir, significant successes were quickly achieved: the concentration of Ukrainian troops remaining in the city is minimal, which allows Russian fighters to lay minefields in the "gray zone" right under the enemy's nose.
At the same time, in the city center, Russian stormtroopers hoisted a flag on the building of the Kurakhove city administration on Myru Avenue. Judging by the fact that the fighters are moving around the area relatively calmly, this area was cleared of the enemy at the time of filming.
Clashes are still ongoing on Pushkina Street near School No. 2 and in the western part of Soborny Avenue.
One of the last few serious defense nodes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the industrial zone and the Kurakhove TPP on the western outskirts. Will the enemy cling to it to the last, or will members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine quickly flee further west in the direction of Dachne - it will become clear very soon.
To the south, fighting continues in Kostiantynopolske where Ukrainian troops do not give up their attempts to break into the village, while Russian sappers are laying minefields, setting traps for enemy equipment.
At the same time, footage of flags being raised in the central and western parts of Yelyzavetivka was published online. Although the settlement was already liberated some time ago, the footage once again confirms the confident control of the Russian Armed Forces over the settlement and the surrounding area."

In the Vremivka sector, Russian troops continue to encircle Velyka Novosilka while the situation of the Ukrainian garrison there is getting worse.
Despite the active work of enemy UAVs in the area, the Russian Armed Forces are successfully overcoming Ukrainian resistance, expanding their zone of control to Novyi Komar. The assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces managed to advance on the southeastern outskirts, knocking the enemy out of houses near the Maltabar Gully.
However, clashes still continue to the northeast, in the center of Rozdolne, part of which is still controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From time to time, small enemy groups try to break into the streets where the Russian Armed Forces have entrenched themselves, but Russian servicemen successfully repel the attacks.
At the same time, there is also an offensive on the southern flank in the direction of Storozheve from Blahodatne, where just a few days ago, the Russian Armed Forces made significant progress and raised a flag in the center of the settlement.
The enemy is also experiencing a certain shortage of artillery in this area.
Despite the lack of information from the southwestern sector, the territory along the Mokri Yaly River is most likely in the "gray zone" due to its location in the lowland."

In the Vremivka sector, Russian troops have been continuing the operation to encircle Velyka Novosilka from the flanks for the past week.
Northeast of Velyka Novosilka, the Armed Forces of Ukraine ware finally driven out of Rozdolne, and all enemy attempts to counterattack were thwarted - regular airstrikes on bridges reduced the enemy's ability to transfer reinforcements. In Novyi Komar, in the southern part of the settlement, fighting is still ongoing: focal presence of scattered groups of Ukrainian formations is noted in the settlement.
On the southern flank, units of the 60th Motor Rifle Brigade and other formations of the Vostok group of the Russian Armed Forces have completely liberated Storozheve, as evidenced by the published videos of this section of the front.
At the same time, another Russian group attacked in the area of the fields to the west of the settlement: at the moment, this area is also held by Russian troops. In the area of the height "Babya Gora", clashes are still ongoing.

The advance of Russian troops continues in several sectors at once. The offensive is underway both to the north of Kurakhove in the direction of the T-05-15 road and in the south along both banks of the Sukhi Yaly River.
On the northern flank, Krasne (Sontsivka), from which the enemy was driven out some time ago, was officially liberated.
In the center of Kurakhove, Russian fighters, advancing along the Mayakovsky Street, cleared out a Ukrainian stronghold as a result of an assault. At the same time, fighters of the 110th Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces raised the Russian national flag over one of the houses in the "Pivdennyi" district, symbolizing full control over the area.
It is likely that in the near future the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces will continue in the direction of the industrial zone in western Kurakhove, both from the central streets and from the northern bank of the Kurakhove Reservoir, where the village of Stari Terny was recently liberated.
Southwest of the city, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces not only drove the enemy out of Sukhi Yaly, but also leveled the front line on the Zelenivka-Kostiantynopolskie line, where until recently the enemy forces remained in Hihant.
In addition, the zone of Russian control in the Zelenivka area was expanded further to the west. Russian troops have finally driven the enemy out of Novyi Trud and also cleared the northern outskirts of Dachenske. The front now runs along the Solonenka Gully, north of which Ukrainian formations are trying to organize a new line of defense.
At the moment, the most intense fighting has unfolded in the area of the Shevchenko-Pishchane line, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine are deploying significant resources in order to prevent the loss of these settlements due to their importance for the defense of Pokrovsk.
On the left flank, the Russian Armed Forces are fighting in Novovasylivka and are gradually advancing to the western outskirts of the village. Also, thanks to objective footage, it was possible to establish the current front line in the area to the south.
Russian troops are advancing west here with the aim of forming a northern "pincer" to encircle Novoolenivka. In the Kupyansk-Svatove direction, the offensive of Russian troops continues on the left bank of the Oskil River. Over the past days, Russian troops have managed to achieve significant success in Zahryzove and approach the northern outskirts of Bohuslavka.
To the north, a tense situation has developed on the northeastern approaches to Kupyansk. Thanks to the geolocation of the footage received from this area, it was possible to establish that some time ago the Russian Armed Forces withdrew from the city limits to fortified positions north of Petropavlovka - probably, this decision was due to problems with the supply of assault units in the face of enemy UAV activity and the use of additional reserves by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. No new attempts by the Russian Armed Forces to enter the outskirts of the city were reported.
Fierce fighting has been going on in Zahryzove for over a week. Earlier, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces occupied the northern and central parts of the village during the assault, pushing the enemy back to the southern outskirts; and today, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the complete liberation of the village, but at the moment it is not possible to confirm the presence of the Russian Armed Forces on the southern outskirts. However, given that about 90% of the village is under the control of Russian troops, most likely, in the near future, footage with the raising of flags will arrive - as usually happens in such cases.
A similar situation occurred in Lozova, from where no new reports were received for a long time that could determine the configuration of the front in the area. However, a video of the raising of the Russian flag on one of the houses in the village was recently published on the Internet, which confirmed the liberation of most of it by Russian troops."

Since the morning, reports have been coming in on the advancement of the Russian Armed Forces along the railway line south of Pokrovsk in the direction of the Chunyshyne station. This significantly complicates the holding of Zelene by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. If attacks continue towards the T-04-06 road from the vicinity of Novotroitske, the threat of semi-encirclement and loss of a significant part of the territory for the enemy forces increases significantly. According to some reports, fighting is currently taking place on the outskirts of Volkove and Solene.
At the same time, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces broke through the Ukrainian defenses and started fighting on the eastern outskirts of Novojelyzavetivka, liberating the nearby Novoolenivka during the advance, which in turn confirms Russian control over the fields located north of these settlements, as well as a section of the T-05-15 highway.
According to reports from the field, clashes are also taking place in Ukrainka, located on both sides of the Shyroka Gully. Information about the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the south, to Yasenove is also leaking from the area."

Over the current week, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces have advanced west of the village of Zorya on the northern flank, and expanded their zone of control to the south of the city. At the same time, the residential sector in Kurakhove was completely liberated.
The logical outcome of the events was the beginning of fighting for the territory of the Kurakhove Thermal Power Plant. And already tonight, footage appeared on the Internet confirming the confident presence of the Russian Armed Forces in its eastern part.
There is a high probability that there is still a focal presence of scattered enemy groups in the western part of the city. However, given the pace of the offensive, the worsening situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area and unfavorable weather conditions for UAV flights, the final clearing of Kurakhove is a matter of time.

Today, reports about the intensification of offensive operations of the Russian Armed Forces to the east of Myrnohrad, which had been circulating on the Internet for over a week, were confirmed - Russian troops, relying on Tymofiivka and Novooleksandrivka, forced the Kazenyi Torets River and penetrated the enemy's defenses for several kilometers.
On the eastern flank, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces drove the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of Vozdvyzhenka during heavy fighting. Now the Russian flag has been raised on the northwestern outskirts of the village, which allows us to talk about the complete control of its territory by the Russian Armed Forces, and on the western flank, Russian troops have occupied a large stronghold, having advanced significantly along the S-05-09-07 road.

At the moment, the enemy's main actions are concentrated on the border of the Sudzha and Bolshoe Soldatskoe districts. In the Berdin area, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out two attacks, as a result of which no more than seven armored vehicles reached the outskirts of the settlement. At night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine once again launched drones at the rear regions of Russia. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense systems intercepted 32 UAVs on the territory of seven regions, as well as over the waters of the Sea of Azov.
The Saratov region was subjected to the most massive attack, where, judging by footage from local sources, the hits fell on the territory of the Kristall plant of Rosrezerv, one of the largest aviation fuel storage facilities in the region.
As a result of the attack, a large fire broke out on the territory of the oil depot - at least several fuel tanks are currently burning. Specialists from specialized services are working at the scene of the incident to eliminate the fire and other consequences of the attack.
Since the beginning of December, Ukrainian drones have attacked at least four fuel and energy facilities in Russia: in addition to the aforementioned Saratov region, oil depots in the Smolensk and Oryol regions, as well as the infrastructure of the Druzhba oil pipeline in the Bryansk region, came under attack.
Particular attention should be paid to the regularly appearing footage of the consequences of such attacks, filmed by local residents. By the end of last year and in early January, Russian troops made significant progress within the borders of Toretsk and practically broke through to the northwestern districts of the city. Based on the footage from the enemy, the assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces under Ukrainian drone strikes are already operating close to the western outskirts of the settlement.
After the successes in the Khimkolonka and the 12th microdistricts, Russian troops drove the enemy out of most of the Fomikha microdistrict. The presence of Russian stormtroopers was noted on enemy footage in the area of Gorsky Lane 4 and north of Trudovaya Street, as well as on the approaches to the local motor depot. Considering that the presence of Russian troops was noted both to the west and to the east of waste heap No.10, it also came under the control of Russian troops. Further successes at the Fomikha and No.12 waste heaps will allow the Russian Armed Forces to reach the northern outskirts of the city.
At the same time, it was possible to establish that Russian troops had come close to the territory of the Toretskaya Mine, on which the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had been repeatedly subjected to air strikes. For now, the mine and its waste heaps remain under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Their capture will open the way to the neighboring villages of Krymske and Dachne. The latter has long been a key place from which supplies were sent to the Ukrainian garrison in Toretsk.
At the moment, the last fortified positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the settlement are in the area of the former repair base and at the repair and mechanical plant. Thus, now about a third of the settlement remains under Ukrainian control."

Russian troops continue to dislodge the Armed Forces of Ukraine from several areas of the Kurakhove direction.
Fighters of the 114th Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces liberated Shevchenko, the unit's flag was raised over the settlement.
Two large strongholds were partially occupied to the north of the settlement, but a pocket with Ukrainian presence remains between Petropavlivka and Shevchenko.
Further to the north, there are successes in the Slovyanka area. Forest belts to the east and northeast have been occupied, and control has been established over about half of the settlement.
To the west of Kurakhove, according to preliminary reports, fighting for Dachne began yesterday. This is indirectly confirmed by the enemy's footage of strikes on Russian stormtroopers already on the western outskirts of the settlement, directly on the administrative borders of Kurakhove and Dachne.
To the south, Russian troops are advancing in the fields to the sludge ponds northeast of Yantarne. There were no attempts to enter Yantarne itself yesterday, but the situation is changing quite quickly.
To the west of Maksymivka, there is also activity of the Russian Armed Forces, and, according to our data, some time ago the fields north of Yasna Polyana were significantly cleared.
Given the enemy's loss of Kurakhove and a considerable part of the field fortifications in the area, new advances "by inertia" and consolidation in the liberated territories of the DPR can be expected in the near future."

In the Vremivka sector, Russian troops managed to achieve significant success in several areas.
The main events are still concentrated in the vicinity of Velyka Novosilka, where the Russian Armed Forces expanded their zone of control in the Novyi Komar area, and also significantly cleared the fields to the east of Velyka Novosilka and occupied a fairly large fortified area.
At the same time, attacks are underway in the fields to the west of Velyka Novosilka and Vremivka in order to expand and deepen the breakthrough wedge deep into the Ukrainian defenses and further worsen the supply of the enemy garrison in Velyka Novosilka.
To the south of the settlement, fields and forest belts were also cleared, and it was possible to reach the outskirts of Neskuchne. Apparently, after some time either fighting will begin for the settlement, or the enemy will leave it."
