Any charges that come up after 20 years have to be highly suspect. Also nowadays the definition of rape is so vague.Scotland Yard has just charged Russell Brand with rape and sexual assault, based on allegations more than 20 years old...from 1999-2005.

Was it really rape-rape? Did he jump out of an alley and drag some woman back and forcibly rape her? Or were they on a date and already getting sexual, and then at some point she had second thoughts and he pushed through them? Did she even think it was rape at the time, or did she come to think of it as rape months or years later?
I highly suspect this case fit the latter scenario. Furthermore, I highly suspect any case would be based on hearsay that should not be sufficient to meet the standard of evidence.
This is purely a kangaroo court case.
