Earlier today the UN by means of the United Nations Human Rights Commissions' mandated UN Inquiry Commission has officially labeled the Israeli Gaza op a genocide. According to international law (1948 Genocide Convention, UN 2005 Responsibility to Protect) any state actor now has the right to intervene to prevent more deaths.
Today also marks the start of a new Israeli ground operation in Gaza City, this comes after a weeks long bombing campaign.

That seems like a big deal, almost an invitation for "peacekeepers" to enter Israel, which I somehow don't think would go over so well.
US will veto any motion to send UN "peacekeepers" to Israel, in the security council.
I know I said peacekeepers, but if I understood the post correctly any country can intervene now to prevent more deaths.

Yes, at some point it's certain. However, it could still be decades, if not longer. Though I tend to believe such an event will happen relatively soon, possibly in the next five years or so.
Hollywood and soft-selling of Israel through the decades
As the saying goes, believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. These people are experts are playing both sides.
