North Korea sends balloons of 'trash, faeces' into South
North Korea has sent balloons full of trash, toilet paper and suspected animal faeces into the South, local media reports said Wednesday, with Seoul's military slamming Pyongyang for their "low class" actions.
Photographs showing white balloons bearing garbage bags full of trash and what appeared to be excrement were shared widely by South Korean media, after the North warned this weekend it would shower border areas in "mounds of wastepaper and filth" to punish Seoul.
I see. That says propaganda is just another kind of shit. For many years South Korea has sent their own balloons north with anti DPRK and anti Kim propaganda across the border, so they are just repaying the favour in the same way.
Under the new multi-lateral international model being pushed by BRICS, NK isn't isolated they way they have been. They've always had support from China, Russia and Cuba, and have also traded with Iran and other muslim countries. Still, they've been isolated, and kind of down and out.Kim has really laid on an amazing welcome for Putin with many thousands of people in the streets, military parades, Russian flags everywhere, Putin's face everywhere, gun salutes, national anthems, pick up at the airport....the list goes on and on.
Russia must be promising some very important things to the DPRK to get this kind of amazing reception from the normally austere North Koreans.

Makes perfect sense to me.
Russia has a shortage of workers. NK has the cheapest workers in the world, but are hungry for tech, energy, and military support. Both are strong allies of China. Pretty much a perfect relationship.
Russia may be able to import some cheap NK workers, instead of the usual Muslims who shoot up concert venues. Likewise NK can dramatically improve the standard of living for their citizens if Russia agrees to ignore US sanctions, which, Russia is prepared to do since the amount of sanctions being applied to Russia are so severe. Russia has nothing to lose anymore, but something to gain, while NK especially has a ton to gain.
Indeed, ancient cultures have little interest, or more likely a strong aversion to the Zionism-first Churchianity that the US shoves down everyone's throat. The NKs tolerate Orthodox churches knowing that they're not cultural trojan horses like the dispensationalist evangelical churches that have been pushed for decades in S. Korea, Taiwan or Brazil.
Re posting from another thread
Didn't even know they had Orthodox churches in North Korea !!
Very surprised about that.
