The Cuba Thread

"Sea Horse" haven't made it to Cuba, she diverted her course mid-journey.

And Cuba is now roleplaying North Korea.

As forecasted above the Russians aren't interested in catching any smoke. Also notice the near total foreign paid alt-media blackout on the Russian turn around, quite a shift from the haughty bravado we saw when Moscow announced it would break the blockade. A PR stunt is all it was.

Meanwhile the Cubans are in the dark and increasingly out on the streets.

Before Iran was attacked we saw similar protests happening in Iran, are we about to see Cuba being attacked very soon?

It wasn't serious from the start. 200k barrels of oil would last them maybe two days of normal consumption, a week, maybe more with rationing. If it was serious there would have been another tanker sailing west even before the first one arrived, and then another one. Depending on the size, a tanker every week, or two. Nothing less would make a difference. The best they could achieve with just one, small (handysize) tanker was a PR show. And maybe we'll get to see one - she went dark soon after changing course two weeks ago, so there's a chance that she's still out there, somewhere. Floating around in the western Atlantic, waiting to sneak past the US Navy/Coast Guard.
