While a longer view would probably put The Great War (aka WW1) and before that, the American/French Revolutions, and before that The Industrial Revolution and The Enlightenment, as direct causes which lead us to the depraved world we are in today, the most serious decline for America was the 1963 coup de etat where our leader was murdered in cold blood on live television for the entire world to see.
This is really the original "conspiracy theory" and that phrase is not coincidental--the American Deep State 100% conspired and colluded to cover up this murder (that's not debatable at all) and the CIA created the phrase "conspiracy theory" in the wake of the murder in order to discredit and ridicule those discovering their crimes. The reason you hear the phrase "conspiracy theory" today, is because the CIA was caught conspiring and made up the phrase.
This is a long topic, with many theories, but if you want a good introduction to the evidence, I highly recommend the Who Killed JFK Podcast by Rob Reiner.
It's important to remember that the official conclusion and current government position is that there was a conspiracy to assassinate the President.
I've listened to about half and it is excellent. He interviews original sources, and while a lot of it I knew already, it's very well organized and presented coherently, and it's good to see all the evidence layed out at once.
Listening to this evidence again today, there were several points where my mouth dropped open and I just said "Well of course, because of Israel!" Very revealing to listen to the story again with an eye for the JQ.
Yes, Rob Reiner is Jewish, and while I'm not expecting him to mention Israel, he otherwise doesn't pull any punches, and gets you 99% of the way there. The only unanswered question is *WHO* in the deep state started this ball rolling and *WHY*, but he will cover the how and the when and everything else.
The most likely theory for who gave the order is powerful Zionist Jews because a) JFK was the LAST American president to stand up to them EVER, b) he was aggressively going after them for stealing American nukes, c) Jews have controlled America ever since which is pretty serious circumstantial evidence and d) the Patsy, Lee Harvey Oswald, was killed (on live tv again) by Jew striptease degenerate (((Jack Rubenstein))) . Anyway, a few years after the assassination is when we first started hearing about the Holocaust, and then it's been a pretty steady fall downwards since then.
And Jew or no Jew, America was not dominated by Zionists in 1963 so there were traitorous goys involved in the killing of our president.
Richard Nixon said that America likely peaked in 1969 during HIS presidency (not something most men would be willing to admit) and you can browse just about any metric and see how our way of life has been in free fall since then.

JFK's motorcade through Dallas, and subsequent assassination were NOT broadcast on live TV.
In fact the most famous film of the Kennedy being shot (there were in reality several amateur films made from different angles) wasn't shown on TV until 12 years later when talk show host (((geraldo))) broadcast it for the first time on late night show "Good Night America" in 1975.

Seems pretty clear that this assassination was a multilateral operation with the key players being CIA, Israeli intelligence, and organized crime (with some overlap there), JFK as I recall made certain arrangements with each of those parties to get into office and then upset them all once he got in.

The circumstances of intentionally killing the president, in broad daylight, at noon, on an American street, are often referenced as evidence of the brazenness of the groups behind the killing, as well as the chilling effect it was to have on future presidents. This is the sentiment I meant to reference.
Of course, the reason the Zapruder Film was so famous, was because it was the primary capture of the assassination that Americans had never seen before (but it was covered live on radio and witnessed by the public around the Grassy Knoll.
But Jack Rubenstein did kill Lee Harvey Oswald on live TV, at the police station. Another suspicious in-your-face killing, and a demonstration to everyone that the authorities America knew and (mostly) respected do NOT have the power--someone else does.

More interestingly, more and more assassination experts in recent decades now believe that the Zapruder film (as we know it) is a heavily edited and modified film, and is not a accurate depiction of what actually happened. Numerous things are "wrong" with the film.
Consider the following examples:
-The film does not show the crucial turn of the limousine from Houston street onto Elm street, even though Zapruder had started filming before that.
-More than 30 witnesses claimed the limousine came to a complete stop for about 2 seconds right before the headshot, but this is not seen in the film.
-When the limousine is moving right in front of Zapruder, the bottom half of the limousine is totally cut off and instead Zapruder has a huge section of green grass in the center of the frame. This makes no sense unless you are trying to hide something on the bottom half of the film.
-Not one staff Parkland hospital staff member or doctor described the head wound to the president the same way as it shown in the film. They all say the BACK portion of his head was blasted away....yet the film shows the FRONT portion blasted away.
-People have examined digital high resolution frames of the film and it is pretty clear a tiny dark black blob has been painted in onto the back of the presidents head to hide a exit wound to the back, and another red blob has been added to the front to make it look like a frontal exit wound
-The movements of all 6 passengers in the limousine around the time of the headshot are way too fast to be humanely possible suggesting speeding up of the moment when the limousine was stopped.
I could go on, but you get the point.
Zapruder was of course jewish himself.

I might check the podcast out. Interesting how the response to the baby boomers' fixation on the Kennedy assassination is to dismiss it all as conspiracy theory, even if it is tackled by celebrated movies (such as Oliver Stone's JFK) or novels (Don DeLillo's Libra). More interesting is how that term has been successfully deployed when it comes to other historical events, occurrences, and processes that are subject to inquiry of succeeding generations.
The JQ angle is interesting too but sometimes I have to ask myself why I should bother: was JFK's daughter Caroline ignorant or unaware of such things when she became Caroline Kennedy (((Schlossberg)))?

You could say the same about RFK Jr, who has been groomed by rabbi Boatech and others.

Of course, I've always considered him a patsy, but the evidence shows that:
A) Oswald was not on the 6th floor of the book depository
B) Oswald did not shoot Officer JD Tippet
C) Oswald and Jacob Leon Rubenstein (Jack Ruby) knew each other
It's absurd that he was ever considered a suspect after the first 24 hours. In the past, even I thought he was probably on the 6th floor, firing a shot other than the kill shot, but no, he literally Dindu Nuffin.
After the assassination, when he panicked and went to the movie theater and walked in without paying (despite having money in his pocket) he moved around multiple times, sitting down RIGHT next to 4 different people, in a theater of ~900 that only had about 20 people in attendance. Obviously bizarre behavior to sit so closely to a stranger when the theater is 95% empty. And obviously trying to find a handler / contact.
I'd like to think a similar scam could not be pulled today, but I think it could. While there is less trust in government today, and there would be a stronger group of skeptics (with the ability to discuss and collaborate online), the mass propaganda powers, along with the ability to deepfake things, mean the general public would believe such a lie probably in even larger portions. A further bifurcation of the citizenry. More sheep but also more vocal and adament deniers.
