Read the epic, but I did not enjoy it. Didn't realize an epic meant a book written as a poem. Felt the story lacked substance, and a lot of it was disconnected due to the way it was preserved.

Just finished reading 1984 by Orwell. That was a fantastic read. Definitely recommended

I think Animal Farm is next

I quite enjoyed Dickens' "Great Expectations".

I recommend Madame Bovary by Flaubert. My favorite classic.

I just reread Boy by Roald Dahl. Delightful short read.

Read Farenheight 451 if you're into 1984, also books like Brave New World or Atlas Shrugged By Ayn Rand

Crime and Punishment was really good if you like Dostoyevsky. The Brothers Karamazov is also really good but it's pretty massive. I think like 700-800 pages
