Last year these robots were only used for Comedic purposes as dance group figure out how to use them. Now it looks like they got their bots to adapt well into their own roles. If you go back and compare between the 2025 and today, 2026 - its quite a difference.

The part where they do a live demo and use AI to train what looks like hundreds of robots in a simulation to copy jumping jacks from the newscaster is crazy:

What is this gem of a movie!!? The eighties were great.

This movie is so awesome. It is set in a post apocalypic future. One of the quirks I love about the future setting they present is donuts and beer. The main character is out in the wastelands and goes to a bar, where he orders a cruller and a beer. Apparently it's the norm in this future to offer pastries at bars.

If only reality had lived up to this 80's vision of the future!
