We've all probably seen enough weird videos of giant holograms in the clouds to know that the govts can do or would do a fake alien invasion (the ones on the southern EU and US borders are real, however)...Well, this is the third "heads-up" I've seen today about something potentially brewing.

For this project blue beam or whatever to be successful, I'm sure we all agree that good hologram technology will be essential. In that regard, check out https://www.lightfieldlab.com/ which sells its goods with phrases like "we're creating a world where content escapes the screen and merges with reality" and "imagine..replac[ing] physical objects with nothing but light" and "SolidLight...is beyond holograms."

In other words, they appear to have come up with technology that produces holograms that are 3D and solid/tangible
