New member introduction thread

I had signed up and received a message asking to introduce myself. I used to read old Roosh's forum. I'm not big on discussing personal stuff but interested in honest discussions on economy and finance, as a lot of things seem to be not as they seemed earlier. I think there are sound and educational discussions on these matters here and things to learn.

Not a new member but I’d like to introduce myself.
I am a Latina, Catholic woman in her 20s (don’t live in the US) and have been mostly a lurker on this forum, but used to read RooshV old articles in 2015 since I found my ideas on feminism and social relationships were more compatible with his and not what we are usually fed by modern society. I am not very active online overall and don’t use social media, so reading different discussions set on the forum have been quite stimulating. Would enjoy if ladies forum was more active.

Welcome @dove of the sun. :)

In case you weren't aware, women are able to post and reply in most of the forum, with the exception of the Mens Lifestyle area.

My wife @Mrs TexasJenn and a few other women are somewhat active and I'm sure will be happy to meet and talk to you.

Let me know if you have questions or need help with anything.

Take care & God bless.

In Christ,

SoC

Please feel free to start a thread or two! I've been meaning to do that myself, but you know, life is busy. Most of the ladies are participating in threads outside the ladies' forum these days, since those threads were opened up to us a while back and they're much more active.

I'm VERY interested in the authentic Mexican cooking and recipes you mentioned. I'm from Texas and LOVE Mexican food. I pretty much consider it my native cuisine. I've had plenty of Tex-Mex, which is gringo-fied Mexican food that still can be very good, and I've also had legit authentic Mexican food in Texas and Mexico.

When my husband and I go to Mexican restaurants, we try to sample all their best sauces - red and green chile sauces, mole, traditional salsa, blended bean salsas. I also love making enchiladas, and would love your recipe for good beef enchiladas or cheese enchiladas, and good sauces to go on top.

I started a matchmaking thread a while back. I’m not sure if you are married or not but if you are unmarried or have any unmarried female friends or relatives who are single feel free to post in the matchmaking thread if you are hoping to meet somebody (or know some females who are) and who knows you might garner some interest from the Christian men on this forum.

Hey all,

I had a bit of a trouble past, and when I moved out of my father's place I decided to stop following my Baptist faith(It also didn't help that the church I was going to was rife with the possible scandal). I was an atheist for 6+ years, but have been unsatisfied with my life and how things just didn't seem right, especially when I talked to others regarding consistency of a belief system and how those that are more secular seem to flip-flop between Nihilism and Humanism. On Easter week I really grappled and argued with myself on this issue, and my inner heart told me to attend an Easter Vigil somewhere. I have never felt so much at peace at the Vigil I went to(it was a RC parish), so I decided to become an RC inquirer... until someone told me to attend a Eastern Orthodox Divine Liturgy. I have never felt such... grace until I attended 2nd Pascha Liturgy. Fast forward 7 months later and I haven't missed a Lordsday Liturgy since!

Welcome! I spent years searching for the right faith. 3 1/2 years ago I was baptized into the Orthodox Church. No other faith comes close, in my experience.

Thank you for letting me be here.

I was a member of RooshV’s forum, both before and after Roosh’s conversation experience, and a refugee from that forum told me about this forum. My username there and here is “Placer”.

I am in submission to Jesus Christ, and have been going to church multiple times a week, following the teachings of the Bible, being the best father I can be to my daughter (my wife sadly died), and I have never have and have no plan to have sex outside of a lifetime monogamous commitment.

I have moved to Mexico because western girls and feminism is destroying western culture.

Living in a world where it’s normal to call fornicating “dating” and to avoid marriage, it’s hard to stick to God’s standards and date without engaging in fornication.
