I came across something recently about Rockwell because in the TV mini-series Roots, which I watched as a child when it came out, and even thought I was not race aware my best friend and I laughed our asses off about how corny it was.
In that series, there's a clip where the plagiarizing and lying author of the book Roots, Alex Haley, goes to visit Rockwell, who was played by Marlon Brando, lololololol.
And this is why nationalism will never take off in America. It will always be associated with dumb, blatant racists. To be fair that clip is well placed in this thread

Rockwell is a character in Man in the High Castle as well, which is an alternate history where FDR was assassinated, and in the timeline that followed, Hitler conquered America. Many trends and people from our real timeline show up in the alternate history, including Rockwell. His character is pretty shady.
