Apologies in advance if these pictures don’t technically fit in with the theme of “memes and gifs”, but these pictures off of the news are too good not to post. I’m afraid they’re not of the best quality since it’s an older tv, but you’ll get the point as it gets this lovely gentleman’s worldview across:

That's an interesting quote. It strikes me as the flip side of one that I see from lefties a lot: "If we don't make it dangerous to be a Nazi, they'll make it dangerous to be anything else."
"Their parents should have thought of that."
“We can’t punish anyone for crime if they have children!”"Their parents should have thought of that."
That's such a great point that cuts through all the stupidity. I've lived in foreign countries with my children multiple times. In each case, I took that country's immigration laws very seriously and made great effort to ensure that I was in conformity with them. One of the main reasons was exactly that, to avoid risking being detained for the sake of my children.
I was once "racially profiled" and asked for my papers in a foreign country to prove that I was there legally. Thing is, I didn't think of it that way until after the fact. At the time I just thought of it as a legitimate official from the country checking someone who obviously wasn't from there to make sure he's there legally. I handed over my residency card, the official checked it quickly, thanked me, and gave it back. No big deal. That was the whole point of having a residency card, after all.
None of this is a problem unless nonwhite foreigners are asked to do it in white countries for some reason.
I've been in an ongoing dispute with an unstable, unemployed, ex-con neighbor who was brought to the US as a child for a few months now. So yeah, I agree. Send them back.“We can’t punish anyone for crime if they have children!”
The kids need to be deported with their parents. I’ve known plenty of these “kids.” They’re even worse than the scum who brought them here.
Excuse my ignorance, is the salt content in ocean water negligible in regards to what it will do to the land?
Salt water isn't really an issue for the land, or native vegetation, as seawater floodings occur naturally - a storm surge can push salt water up the river and flood the ground miles away from the coast. The problem is the corrosive nature of salt water, which can damage the infrastructure: pipes, pumps, etc. but one can prevent it from happening with proper maintenance.
Those LA hills aren't arable in the first place, it's thin layer of soil atop of rocks, but yes seawater will kill foreign (imported from inland) vegetation like for example tomatoes in someone's homegarden, but so will the fire.I was thinking more along the lines it the land was still arable.
