This reeks of midwit arrogance and "if everyone would just"-ism. If you think the things that "cause pain and degrade the world" are "pretty stupid", and you think that you have the perfect solution for them, and you think that the solution would be "easy", but you are frustrated because "people are too heckin' stupid to listen to me", the truth is, you're actually profoundly fucking retarded and I hate you, I'm sorry. I've interacted with these types of people a lot and I can't stand them.

It's always the midwits, man. They'll have an IQ of 95 and overclock the hell out of it with adderall, bumping it up to a whopping 104, and they'll immediately start being super vocal communists or lecturing people about things like global warming and racism, and they'll start considering themselves "tortured geniuses", whether they are shameless enough to put it like that or not, and they often actually are.

Here's the real answer: Intelligent people suffer because they often grow up getting really heavy compliments from everyone for every little thing, and end up with an ego so massive that not being looked up to by everyone around them causes them a degree of distress. It's not really their fault but they need to cultivate humility, which can take years. It's that, and they might find it hard to get friends whom they can have a conversation with as equals. But these problems only show up for people who have a lot more than 130 points, and I've met those types and I assure you, they do not talk about "tortured geniuses" and how "the problems of the world would be so easy to fix but people are too stupid to understand".

If God one day blesses me with an intelligent son, I'll make sure to avoid complimenting him excessively and to actually scold people who do, because when kids get the idea into their heads that they are "gifted" and "special", it just absolutely ruins them, it's actually unbelievable. It's even worse when the kid is not even that smart at all. I live in Latin America, and the average IQ in here is like 85, which is just insanely low, and so you sometimes end up with situations where a kid has an IQ of 100 or so, maybe even 110 or 120, which is actually still not much, and he grows up surrounded by these jungle-tier retards and ends up thinking he's a genius, but then he goes to college and finds out that he's not, and they often never recover from the shock. The realization causes them actual meltdowns, as in, these people will literally strip naked and jump into a fountain, just go completely insane for a while. It's quite depressing.

Some of the most busted fragile worthless people I've ever met were the ones who were told how special they were growing up and how they could do no wrong.....as you said no humility.

One of my fathers favorite things to tell me my whole life is "franko you dumb stupid lazy", still does it as he sits in my warehouse office drinking coffee after bringing me his problems to solve for him haha.
