Nearly all of Spain's generation comes from "just in time" solar/wind power. Kick out the solar even for a minute and the entire system crashes, what a joke. Any other power grid would handle a "rare atmospheric disruption" like this just fine.

Total blackout confirmed. And now electricity restored.
My advice is for everyone in the west to buy a battery radio. Which I will do tomorrow. If there´s any left. I had to be inside the car to listen to news.
Nothing works, mobiles, internet, etc. If you don´t have a radio you will know nothing. My wife traumatized from my everyday conspiracies bought a ton of canned food from the supermarket. Most of supermarkets closed except for the germans. For some reason they were open.
I used the solar powered lamps from my garden inside the house. And they worked great. Candles are shit. Since Biden dark winter I´ve been planning to put a backup solar panel specially for the fridge and cooking.
My biggest worry was criminality. If phones are dead how can people call the cops.
Also gas stations were all closed except for priority vehicles.
There´s something wrong in all this. And it looks like more an inside WEF job to test people reaction than any cyberattack. Training and tweaking on small countries to pass to bigger ones.
Nobody did panic. People were in the beach. The small coffees which run on generators were open. I don´t think people will chimp out like movies.
I will sell this farm near the beach and buy something completely isolated. And start working in my plan b outside Europe and in South America.
A family member says this was supposed to spread all over Europe. But they managed to avoid it. Germany/Holland, etc was supposedly to be affected also.

Yea, funny how some people don't even have 10 Euros. They use their Apple watches or whatever to pay. People should be able to survive for at least a week. Anyway, from what I saw and heard, the Pakistanis kept their shops open too and were willing to accept people keeping their word that they would pay tomorrow, given that they simply had absolutely no cash on them.

Israelis are a given.
Europe is not africa. If the electricity would take more time to be restored. I don’t think there would be massive civil unrest. Some small pockets could arise lead by migrants.
Unless the state broke down. But even then people would with more difficulty organize locally. And another government would be put in place. It would mean a temporary impoverishment. If the state started to attack people like in communists shitholes than things could get wild.
Some ATMS were working. But had gigantic lines. I have emergency cash. So no issues there.
A battery radio. Never expected it to be this important. I was listening to the car radio when lights started to turn on. This is more stressful because of children. If I were alone. I would be at the beach. You have to think of food for children. Not yourself. And to make it the least impactful for them.
The blackout affected many European countries Germany, Belgium, Italy. But others seemed to have avoided the worse. They are still not giving any valid explanation.

Just buy and install solar panels and batteries in your farm, and get a cheap mp3 player with a radio.
