I was going to naturally follow that up with something by the Bay City Rollers, but opted for this instead:
Please don't! The 2 Pilot members were not involved in that insipid BCR "Saturday Night" song but they were later involved with The Alan Parsons Project which was a more respectable outfit.
I was thinking of putting this one up but thought the association with the movie "Blow" might be too obvious.
I don't know the movie. I just remember it was a hit song in my youth.

Alan Parsons produced this album just before starting the Alan Parsons Project. Parsons started at Abbey studio working with the Beatles, then did much of the production on Dark Side of the Moon, so he was already a rising start as a producer, and was a creative force in the musical result, as well as just operating the technology.
I can sort of hear his influence in Pilot's sound on this song.

This is a great song -- I love it -- but I'm not sure it belongs in this thread. The Church had many hits (in the USA, at least, and probably even more in their native Australia) and they have released over 20 albums.
