Also @GodfatherPartTwo care to give your biblical opinion here? I feel both could be considered wrong but people on this forum act is if the latter is fine.

The Bible is against any and all kinds of gossip, slander, bearing false witness. While it is true to point out that many priests are pedophiles, to specifically suggest that Samseau is seeking to become a priest in order to become a pedophile is definitely gossip. On that basis alone, I would take this on the chin, heartfully apologize for speaking in passion, and leave it to the mercy of the forum, and to the mercy of God more importantly. If you do these things, whoever doesn't forgive you will be in the wrong. Focus on the issues brother, not the people, and you'll be okay.

In the spirit of my post above. @Get2choppaaa. I would like to apologize to you if me saying you were pro-abortion demeaned your character in other people's eyes. After discussing this with @Thomas More, I realized I could have been more tactful by calling you an accommodationist. Understand that I only grant two categories on the abortion issue, ardently against, or for, whether by actively being for it or passively not being against. Nevertheless, I apologize if I needlessly offended you, and I suspect that I did. I am glad to hear that you're doing well and that you are stewarding your family. Go with God.

I forgive you brother. I'm sure over a beer we'd realize we are fundamentally aligned on the same points but the internet has a funny way of making communication less charitable than we would be in person. Often I find myself so wrapped up in the minutia of proving I am right that I talk past my brother. I suspect we both are guilty of that...
