Reform lost the Gorton and Denton by-election seat to the Islamo-Marxist (Green) Party by 11%. I don't see this as a big event, in the vein of Southport and the riots, but it's not too far off. The commentary about this is veering further to the right and acknowledging openly that Britain has been Lebanonised by one thing and one thing alone - unwanted, unnecessary 3rd-world immigration.
Even candidate Matt Goodwin has gone outside of the Farage-prescribed safe space of speech with his subsequent tweet:
This is the indefinite path that the country is on now. There is no nice button to turn it off. So I think people need to state communicating that the ultimate solution will only be found in military dictatorship that will deliver mass repatriations.
If the Green Party are leading into the next election, borrowing costs will go up. If they look like they will win, borrowing costs will go up. If they win, borrowing costs will go up. If they form a government, borrowing costs will go up. If they continue spouting their current make-believe economic platform, borrowing costs will go up. At which point there’s just going to be zero chance of them implementing any fiscal policies. Anything they want to do will be dead on arrival. And their team is such a rag-tag of university challenged oddballs that they are just not going to be able to get anything done. There’s only one thing they can do, something which is very easy, which is let in millions more future Green voters.
The Green Party is MMT-lite, which means they don’t believe there is any downsides to borrowing if the Bank of England buys the debt. This was tired in Sri Lanka (courtesy of plans by Soros and Stiglitz) and it crashed the economy, caused bread lines, and mass protests. The reality is that the more the Bank of England buys debt, the higher borrowing costs will go up.
The only question is where the Green Party would draw the line of causing economic carnage. There’s no money left. Nothing significant can be cut. No more can be borrowed. There’s nothing to sell. The wealthy are fleeing. Those who could create wealth don’t see any reason to do so. There’s basically no point in doing anything, as the economy has been driven so far towards the point of there being marginal differences between working 80 hours a week and working zero on welfare-max. It’s a 100% certainly they instantly hit economic failure, and all the people who believe their magical thinking economics then turn to disillusion. There is just zero chance of any left-wing party delivering here, pretty much ever again.
Starmer will probably be driven on to his sword this year, and the further left of the party will take over, likely under a ridiculous leader who will look like a child on the world stage - Rayner. Their voters will think it was just cruel Starmer holding back the money and punishing the poor. But there’s no money left, and that person will not be able to do anything and instantly plunge to Starmer-low polling. Maybe another “leader” will hack their way in, and almost definitely another before the election. I would guess they realise they need to parachute Burnham in, and it would have to be somewhere with a low Muslim population or he too will be incinerated. But they’d have to do it just before a GE, as he will be toast if he has 6 months in office.
I think a Green government, or one led by them, is likely at some point. So it's probably better sooner rather than later, and they have the economy crashing hung around their neck. Hopefully it's particularly brutal, and the environment starts to emerge in which no more 3rd worlders arrive and they start to go back to the countries where their allegiance lies. Likewise, this will probably drive more people to see that there is no democratic solution, and pursue a real future. Democracy has to go.
Another thing worth adding is that cabinet minister Wes Streeting released his WhatsApp messages with Mandelson, which included the message:
These parasitic ***** have been loosing the working-class vote since ~2002, and they have done nothing to stop that. Instead redirecting all redistribution to 3rd worlders. Loose the Muslim votes and they're soiling themselves. These ***** have ruined themselves. I've been saying, with citations, for some time that as soon as Muslims can, they will stab the left in the back. That honour of being stabbed has just moved to the Green Party now. They will do no reflection and consider no change to their 3rd worldist putsch. They will just let themselves be destroyed by their own hand. I'm pretty sure it's over for Labour now.

This is the percent of the government budget that is new borrowing and debt servicing. It's already near crisis (GFC, COVID) highs.
When this goes, it's going to be bad. And many other historic recession markers/indicators are already hovering close to recession levels.
A retarded Green Party that just blows things up and make the country not only uninviting to new immigration, but also ones already in Britain, might be the best near-term future.
