"Rich tax" hits at about 125k yearly income in the UK. Even places like Malta, Cyprus or Montenegro offer great tax breaks for business owners.
As for the US, I guess the attitude towards them is state dependent too.
I understand that but where do you go/live if you already have a family.
Malta etc are for rich boomers/Gen X so they can have easy access to the EU as the place itself is a built up dump.
I haven't heard complaints regarding family life in Malta and Cyprus. Both are pretty conservative, given their religious setup. And English is commonly used. I know people in their late 30s/early 40s that moved there with their families and things seem to be going well. Montenegro is obviously infinitely more challenging due to the language barrier.
