Latest Canadian Lunacy

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), currently underway, has pulled the documentary Russians at War. The doc was made by Russian-Canadian director Anastasia Trofimova and is a Canadian and French production. Trofimova once worked for RT (((banned in Canada))) but quit in 2020, 2 years before Russia's deployment into Ukraine. She's also documented conflicts in Iraq, Syria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Ukrainian lobby in Canada is out in force, denouncing her as a Russian propagandist. (Canada has the largest ethnic Ukrainian population outside Ukraine) TIFF has pulled the film, due to "significant threats against festival operations and public safety." So WHO are the fascists here?!

Background on the documentary from TIFF:

News release from TIFF:

CBC news story, featuring ethnic Ukrainian propagandists and their lapdog Western shills:

There is a Ukrainian lobby in Canuckistan!?

There is a Ukrainian lobby in Canuckistan!?
Lots of Ukrainian immigration to Canada in the early to mid 1900’s, huge swaths of land on the prairies settled by Ukrainian farmers escaping starvation, religious persecution or other hardships perpetrated on them the Jewish Bolshevik communists. I find it very ironic that the people today with Ukrainian heritage support the Ukrainian side of the current war while the Ukrainian side is being led by a Jewish globalist puppet and their enemy Putin is fighting the Zionist globalists - if that is indeed what’s going on there
Simply put - Putin may be fighting the group that drove the Ukrainian migrants out of their home and yet the descendants of those Ukrainians naturally support the other side.

"I went for a mastectomy and they offered me assisted dying, Canadian cancer patient reveals"

Sorry about the article, you have to sign up to actually see it. Free, but annoying. The title and this basically sums it up though:

The cancer patient who was offered the programme before her mastectomy has been waiting for an appointment at a specialist pain clinic for the past year. “However, if I were to call the MAID hotline this morning, I’d be talking to a doctor tomorrow afternoon,” she said.

Dr Leonie Herx, a palliative medicine consultant in Calgary, said that staff-shortages are so bad in some Canadian hospitals that patients who are not at risk of imminent death are offered MAID before they’ve even had a chance to see a palliative care consultant.
Here in the bad old USA I have excellent benefits through my employer and my wife and kids and I can see a physician same day for urgent things, within a few weeks for non-urgent matters. Out of pocket max per family member is just a few thousand USD, which I much prefer to free healthcare where they strongly encourage suicide. The poor woman in this article who had already expressed her desire to, you know, survive cancer was offered the suicide option at least three times.

Then again, if I were to lose my job and have an ER visit before finding another, maybe I'd prefer taking my chances with what Canada has to offer.

About our "free" healthcare:
The words "just a few thousand USD" would make most good Canadians shudder, or fly into a rage, or laugh smugly at the inferiority of your barbarous system. Yet those same good Canadians will look at their biweekly paycheque, see the 40+% deduction of "taxes", grumble about it, then carry on with nary a thought as to where it goes, or how much of it actually sinks into our "free" healthcare.

In my experience the majority of Canadian sheep have no interest in finding out exactly how many (tens of) thousands they pay into their "free" healthcare every year.

Same for the UK. Most people still think the NHS is amazing despite the mega taxes they pay to keep it alive. . You should hear the responses when I tell people it should be scrapped and replaced by a private system.

In Canadian news today:

A young man sexually assaulted a 3 month-old baby as a teenager, so badly that the baby required extensive surgery. He also admitted to drowning a 3 year-old when he was 11. He was imprisoned indefinitely for the sexual assault but not prosecuted for the drowning murder. In prison he 'transitioned' from Adam Laboucan to 'Tara Desousa' no doubt in order to avoid being murdered by fellow male inmates. He's now incarcerated in a women's prison in my local area. He now wants to be allowed escorted visits to an indigenous 'healing centre' in the Vancouver area. So he's playing both the race card AND the tranny card.

From Global News:

"Tara Desousa, now 43, has applied to Federal Court to overturn a decision by B.C.’s Fraser Valley Institution to deny her him “escorted temporary absences” from the federal women’s prison. Desousa, then named Adam Laboucan, was 15 years old in 1997 when she he sexually assaulted an infant she he was babysitting in Quesnel, B.C. The baby required surgery to repair the injuries. Desousa, who underwent gender-affirming operations while serving an indefinite sentence, also admitted to drowning a three-year-old boy when she he was 11 years old, which the judge in the sexual assault case said was below the age of criminal responsibility."
