The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), currently underway, has pulled the documentary Russians at War. The doc was made by Russian-Canadian director Anastasia Trofimova and is a Canadian and French production. Trofimova once worked for RT (((banned in Canada))) but quit in 2020, 2 years before Russia's deployment into Ukraine. She's also documented conflicts in Iraq, Syria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Ukrainian lobby in Canada is out in force, denouncing her as a Russian propagandist. (Canada has the largest ethnic Ukrainian population outside Ukraine) TIFF has pulled the film, due to "significant threats against festival operations and public safety." So WHO are the fascists here?!
Background on the documentary from TIFF:
Russians at War
Russian Canadian filmmaker Anastasia Trofimova’s gripping first-person documentary takes us beyond the headlines to join Russian soldiers in Ukraine placing themselves in a battle for reasons that become only more obscure with each gruelling day.tiff.net

CBC news story, featuring ethnic Ukrainian propagandists and their lapdog Western shills:
Lots of Ukrainian immigration to Canada in the early to mid 1900’s, huge swaths of land on the prairies settled by Ukrainian farmers escaping starvation, religious persecution or other hardships perpetrated on them the Jewish Bolshevik communists. I find it very ironic that the people today with Ukrainian heritage support the Ukrainian side of the current war while the Ukrainian side is being led by a Jewish globalist puppet and their enemy Putin is fighting the Zionist globalists - if that is indeed what’s going on thereThere is a Ukrainian lobby in Canuckistan!?
Here in the bad old USA I have excellent benefits through my employer and my wife and kids and I can see a physician same day for urgent things, within a few weeks for non-urgent matters. Out of pocket max per family member is just a few thousand USD, which I much prefer to free healthcare where they strongly encourage suicide. The poor woman in this article who had already expressed her desire to, you know, survive cancer was offered the suicide option at least three times. The cancer patient who was offered the programme before her mastectomy has been waiting for an appointment at a specialist pain clinic for the past year. “However, if I were to call the MAID hotline this morning, I’d be talking to a doctor tomorrow afternoon,” she said.
Dr Leonie Herx, a palliative medicine consultant in Calgary, said that staff-shortages are so bad in some Canadian hospitals that patients who are not at risk of imminent death are offered MAID before they’ve even had a chance to see a palliative care consultant.
About our "free" healthcare:Out of pocket max per family member is just a few thousand USD, which I much prefer to free healthcare where they strongly encourage suicide.
Same for the UK. Most people still think the NHS is amazing despite the mega taxes they pay to keep it alive. . You should hear the responses when I tell people it should be scrapped and replaced by a private system.About our "free" healthcare:
The words "just a few thousand USD" would make most good Canadians shudder, or fly into a rage, or laugh smugly at the inferiority of your barbarous system. Yet those same good Canadians will look at their biweekly paycheque, see the 40+% deduction of "taxes", grumble about it, then carry on with nary a thought as to where it goes, or how much of it actually sinks into our "free" healthcare.
In my experience the majority of Canadian sheep have no interest in finding out exactly how many (tens of) thousands they pay into their "free" healthcare every year.
I read recently that Canada and California introduced MAID around the same time, however since then, California has murdered, oops, I mean suicided around 900 people, while the number for Canada is around 50,000.
