Nice reality-check. I get that lots of people would love to see Israel get a black eye given all the shenanigans and scheming they get up to especially when it comes to interfering with the US but I think it leads to a lot of wish-casting and pinning their hopes on these second and third world countries that don't really have the capability or competence to really take on Israel. This sort of mentality reminds me of all the people that got caught up with QAnon since they were desperate for some outside force to come and defeat their enemies only instead of pinning their hopes on some secret resistance group they are pinning their hopes on the Irans, Syrias, of the (second/third) world.
From what I've seen of the missile Iranian missile strikes that was supposed to "put Israel in it's place" it seemed more like a "do something, anything" sort of flailing reaction when compared to the initial Israeli barrage. I don't say this out of any sort of love of Israel by the way but it seems clear to me that the Israelis/Jews are more competent then their neighbors and I think even without US support they could actually prevail over them - which is another argument for the US staying out of this by the way.
I noticed some of the posters on here that think Israel is about to get what's coming to them are also people that are super focused on IQ differences between societies and how it results in different out comes for these societies. I thought this would have make them think twice about placing so much hope on these second/third world countries being up to rise up to the occasion and take on Israel/AIPAC/the disgusting US/Zionists/etc. but apparently not.
Iran has one of the highest national IQ's in the world, estimated to be between 106 to 110. Their problem has been, while they are smart enough to see through the BS of the west for decades, they have had the previous White high IQ west attacking them non-stop for 50 years.
Now the west is becoming not White and the IQ of the west is falling off a cliff with third world immigration, they are catching up. Iran didn't just give Israel a black-eye last night, they completely exposed them. They exposed how severely overrated their air defense systems are against a real advisory. They exposed how weak their people are, supposed warriors who will fight against all enemies to defend their land, instead are looking to bail and return to New York. They exposed how much west technology is falling behind, due to third world immigration.
The people of Tel Aviv mostly thought they were safe, maybe a missile or two would get through. But that isn't the case, the big stuff hit and according to Iran, who so far has been truthful, they have more devastating missiles they have not unveiled yet.
But best of all, is the comments on twitter. Seeing politicians and media talking heads get absolutely crushed and ratio'ed by average people is a huge sign of how unpopular Israel has become.
In a vacuum, yes the USA could get involved and really cause damage to Iran and probably crush it. But this will cost 10's of thousands of soldiers lives. And people are talking about what a disaster life is in the USA. No one can afford to buy a home, the roads are so bad they cause wrecks, insurance is so high people can't afford to go out and enjoy fun things, and crime is so rampant large swaths of the country are no longer even safe to travel through. And we still have diversity quotas and Africans running wild destroying shopping complexes and hurting a lot of people. And that is where this vacuum breaks. No one wants their kid to die, or get hurt, or have their kid come home with life altering PTSD, all for this trash disgusting country. There is no support here for the war and when flag draped caskets start to return, the anger will boil over at home.
The only questions are, how many missiles does Iran have, how quickly can they produce them, and will they be able to continue to launch them. If they can continue to produce and launch these missiles, it is over for Israel, outside of capitulation. We just don't know the answers to these questions, we do know Iran can reach out and touch Israel in a way they have never experienced before.
