Iran-Israeli Conflict Thread

I'm not sure how accurate these projections are, but I thought this was an interesting read nonetheless.

One country they forgot to mention is Iran, the will also suffer if they interrupt the flow of goods and services through the channel, I dont think this interruption will last long.

In the Article it say the US is in a very good position and isnt that directly affected by the closing of the straights, so Iran is actually hurting the rest of the world far worse and might create some new enemies (or not).

There's a lot of people making money through price gouging like down under, they don't mind this "war".

Iran is also getting stinking rich and Russia has now more than ever an energy stranglehold on the EU.

They look and behave a lot differently. Their top leadership would be closely genetically related to the Greeks, not poo in the loos. They have an Arab population, but their leaders and Mullahs are often of Aryan background.

Tailoring things to your narrative trying to justify favoring anyone who is against the USA is blinding you. These guys all look exactly the same as half the guys walking around Dearborn and Hilcroft ave.

Day 13 – Iran does not seem to fear escalation

The US lost a refueling aircraft today over Iraqi skies, and a second one, apparently damaged, had to land in Israel. The plane that crashed was carrying 6 crew members. It is still not clear what happened and nothing is ruled out.

Not long ago I warned that Iran possesses drones with air-to-air missiles capable of threatening these tanker planes in Iraqi territory. (Karrar)

And, not fearing escalation, pro-Iran Iraqi militias attacked a French base in Erbil, killing Chief Warrant Officer Arnaud Frion of France’s 7th Alpine Hunter and wounding other soldiers.

In a hostile environment with American bases being evacuated, I have no idea why these men were at that base and in the middle of crossfire.

A Chinese company also released images today of American bases attacked in the region. Iran did not spare missiles against these bases, and went even further by destroying three Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft at a Kuwaiti base and three hangars housing AWACS aircraft, with at least one AWACS visibly confirmed as destroyed, showing that it fears no escalation whatsoever.

In another event on this day 13, a missile hit Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, wounding 19 who had to be transferred to a hospital in Germany.

According to CBS, “Earlier this week, roughly 20 servicemembers arrived at Landstuhl hospital in Germany with injuries classified as ‘urgent,’ including traumatic brain injuries, from the Kuwait strike that killed six.”

Now the Pentagon’s official count is 160 wounded and, if there is confirmation about the deaths from the plane that crashed, the number of military deaths would be around 14.

Bombardments on Iran continue on this 13th day, as do the missiles against Israel.

Earlier, CNN, citing sources, reported that the Pentagon and the National Security Council significantly underestimated the extent to which Iran is prepared to close the Strait of Hormuz.

(If they had been paying more attention to my articles, they would have known this)

Iran X California

What I still can’t connect the dots on is this: Iran hasn’t attacked a single U.S. Navy ship that’s only 750 km from its coast, well within range of at least three anti-ship missiles.

The truth is that during few occasions, the US aircraft carrier was as close as 350 km to the Iranian coast.
At similar distances in Yemen, there were daily swarms, which even launched Sayyad and Quds Z-0 missiles with an 800 km range, and this has been confirmed in reports.

Iran probably didn’t because it knows that sinking an American warship would trigger massive public outrage in the U.S. and dramatically increase support for war.

If Iran didn’t dare attack ships just 750 km away, why on earth would it attack California, which is 12,000 km away?

In a war that the US is who is under insane pressure from Arab countries and the financial markets?

Apparently there's another refueling jet down.

*sorry just saw someone already post it

While I'm at it; these refuelers are old so this might just spark to get those grounded MD11's to be reconfigured?.... are you listening UPS?

FedEx are putting them back in service next month.

.@POTUS is taking decisive steps to promote stability in global energy markets and working to keep prices low as we address the threat and instability posed by the terrorist Iranian regime.

To increase the global reach of existing supply, @USTreasury is providing a temporary authorization to permit countries to purchase Russian oil currently stranded at sea. This narrowly tailored, short-term measure applies only to oil already in transit and will not provide significant financial benefit to the Russian government, which derives the majority of its energy revenue from taxes assessed at the point of extraction.

President Trump's pro-energy policies have driven U.S. oil and gas production to record levels, contributing to lower fuel prices for hardworking Americans. The temporary increase in oil prices is a short-term and temporary disruption that will result in a massive benefit to our nation and economy in the long-term.

Is he wrong?

Bloomberg: Iran's missile launcher arsenal holds steady despite strikes.

New damage at Al Udeid Airbase in Qatar

Reuters has reported that the US is considering intervention in the oil futures market. Head of CME Group, Terry Duffy, warns of a 'biblical disaster' if that happens. CME run the exchange that trades in US oil futures.

Professor Theodore A. Postol claims that the interception rates of US Patriot systems is lower than 4-5%. This certainly matches the footage we have been seeing of Iranian missiles dodging them with apparent ease.

CBS: Two anonymous US officials say the USS Abraham Lincoln fired a 5 inch Mark 4 naval gun at an Iranian vessel that got too close, missed, and a helicopter was launched that then took it out.

Iraqi TV analysts debate the reshaping of the Gulf region if war continues:
Bahrain goes to Iran.
Kuwait goes to Iraq.
Oman gets the Emirates.
Saudi may as well take Qatar.
Kuwait and Qatar 'are not states'.
UAE 'pays ex-pats $50 to fill stadiums because they have no people.'
If the Bahrain bridge goes down, the Shia majority will take over.

Son of Idi Amin warns Ugandans to be wary of Israeli settlers in East Africa that are fleeing the war via Dubai.

"Remember that the entire Israeli society has been radicalized and indoctrinated from childhood with a lot of big bigotry and a lot of violent religious intolerance against other faiths, other races, and other peoples."
"And if they are already hyper racist with extreme genocidal xenophobia against a cute Palestinian child in Gaza, imagine what you, the African are to them."
"You have seen these tech billionaires in America, even people like Trump, even this lady called Erika Kirk, they are all struggling to appear human in front of people."

The claim now is that it was a mid-air collision. Maybe for the one that landed at Ben Gurion airport. But not the other that went down somewhere over Iraq.

In this update, Sal at 'What's Going On With Shipping' is 'a bit distraught' at the unfolding events, and is very critical of the administration's handling of the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz.
