Iran-Israeli Conflict Thread

"Being a tard" here boils down to a breach in decorum in what really is the pursuit of a noble cause, and the courage he displayed here dignifies his uniform.

This is a guy who literally put his body on the line for a cause that is about saving lives, including those of Marines. This is not AOC posturing at the border.
So fucking what? Him being an ass clown in uniform somehow justified his all this "he put his life on the line talk?"

So did I...

But you didn't serve so this is more TV bullshit for you to manja on. How naive are you? Hes a green party candidate running for office and this is a publicity stunt.

He's getting all the write ups in Forbes. Nothing inorganic about it here boyo!!!

I thought you were the guy who could read between the propaganda lines no???

Again.... For the 3rd time

I can agree with his take on not thinking we need to be in this war.... But still think he's a piece of shit for being a clown in uniform and knowingly publicity whore himself here.

I'm not in favor of this current conflict and I wasn't in favor of getting rid of Ghadaffi, though I participated in the aftermath and have been in harms way myself, have lost fellow Marines, and experienced this from first hand.

In my opinion this entitles you to criticize anyone in America, anytime you want. You put your life on the line for the best aspects of America, and in no way did you intentionally fight on behalf of jews. You thought you were doing the right thing. However, I afford the same courtesy to this gentleman. He was calm in the beginning, being fully respectful of the uniform he earned. All he said was the words "Israel" and "jews" and the pro-zionist foot soldiers jumped right on him. I don't think he intentionally went there to clown out, but when they started physically assaulting him over freedom of speech "words" they brought out the inner-marine in him. They are the ones who illegally assaulted him and started breaking his bones (he wasn't yelling "fire!" in a crowded room). He earned the right to address the (((US Government Apparatus))) in a public forum. (((They))) are the ones who opened this meeting to the public and let him in the building, and the second he started speaking words they didn't like they panicked and broke if not legal laws, moral laws based on Christian principles.

His backstory and personal narrative are somewhat irrelevant (as long as he wasn't dishonorably discharged), he stood up and said what he believes, which I know you believe too, so outside of "I would have done it differently," I'm not quite sure what your problem is with your fellow marine who simply stated that Americans are no longer willing to die for jews.

This is fair. I don't disrespect his service, but he's an NCO (non commissioned officer) and in the Marines that's a big deal. He must hold himself to a higher standard. Because he is a sergeant I expect so much more.

My point is that in uniform you're expected to uphold a decorum and poise, tact, judgment etc. etc. etc. he went there to disrupt knowing fucking none of what he was doing was in line with those traits or expectations.

So if he were standing in front of me (as an officer) I would crucify him for bad esprit de corps and dishonoring the uniform.

I get that may not make sense to a lot. But that's how it is. His actions don't set a good leadership example for Marines and are totally self serving... Even more so when you realize he is running for office.

That said... Zero people here and I mean literlallllllllllyyyyyyy zero people.... Would give a pass for a cop acting like an ass clown in uniform.

Iranian ballistic missile fire has decreased sharply. Couldn't find info on its suicide drone statistics, although that pace seem stabler. During the Twelve Day War Iran fired 547 ballistic missiles and ~1000 drones at Israel, Tehran has already topped that number on day 4 (nearly 700) this time.

The US degradation of Iran's missile and drone infrastructure is continuing unabated, Iranian ballistic missiles launches are 86 percent down since Day 1, drone launches are down about 73 percent.

There is currently a not much talked about strategic air campaign going on involving all of the US' long distance heavy bomber types, they are primarily targeting Tehran's missile and drone infrastructure which was dug deep into the mountaneous areas of Western Iran. Yesterday, amongst others, a specifically active drone complex in Shiraz Province was destroyed.

As forecasted the Iranians militarily don't stand a chance, though Tehran did keep up pace for a good 3-4 days. Likewise as forecasted the only ace card they ever really had is a full blockade of the Strait of Hormuz

You're fighting windmills in your head and potentially deliberately obfuscating content of links shared. Likewise the intended undercutting of sources presented is noted.

Repeated for clarity: the Iranian regime itself has on January 22 released the names of nearly 3000 individuals killed in the protestors, which was not much later followed by President Pezeshkian offering an apology and promising further reforms. As for videos of bloodstained protestors getting shot from close distance, these are not allowed to be shared on this board.

Interesting that it reports the same numbers as the article that said they were talking about deaths from 2025.

Did you not read the articles you sent me?

You're rubbing the stain now, the latest wave of protests began on December 28, 2025 after Tehran stallholders and storeowners closed their stores in protest against additional government taxing and a depreciating currency. That's what the PressTV article refers to.

Ergo Iranian regime officials admitted to at least 3117 death during the next two weeks, after which Pezeshkian offered an apology and reforms. It's really not that hard to understand.

So which is it then? Did the protests happen this year or last year? Is it 3,000 or 30,000? And again, why is there absolute no footage, no witnesses talking about it?

Do you expect me to believe Iranians were brave enough to protest under threat of death, but not brave enough to record evidence of being killed?

I don't want to derail too much, but these numbers are truly pathetic. We spend a trillion dollars a year on our military/MIC and can only produce 57 Tomahawk missiles? The sheer level of fraud, graft, and waste in this sector must be absolutely mind-boggling.
The annual budget in 2000 was $200 billion and less than that during Gulf War I, when we had 50% more active duty members than today.

Obviously, the corruption and incompetence are so bad that increasing the budget makes things worse, like increasing the allowance of a wayward son who's prone to benders.

First time a US plane has crashed over Iran. The pilot ejected and was rescued later:
So we're at four downed F-15's in a few days when none had ever been shot down before? How many of these pilots were DEI hires and/or pregnant?

US military logistics, ability to assess and gain intel, ability to adapt and overcome, firepower, and ability to sustain and accelerate an aerial campaign to the point where a dug in enemy which has been in preparation for conflict for 40+ years is put on the back foot halfway across the world within 3-4 days has not gone unnoticed.
For context, that was against a military that shot down one of its own country's civilian passenger jets a few years ago.

Remains to be seen how sustainable this is for the US military beyond a week or two.

Article in The Guardian: The US actions against Iran are a war without a clear goal or success criteria. "They say that Hegseth and Rubio are 'clueless' on these issues and that chaos and confusion have prevailed in the Pentagon, the State Department, and the National Security Council: no one is accountable for anything."

An Iranian drone struck an airport in Azerbaijan, first time an Iranian projectile targets an Azeri target

Why the presumption that it is an Iranian drone? That is unverified. The chances of this being a false flag are huge, and would massively benefit Israel and the US as they seek to drag Azerbaijan into a ground war.

I think it actually does the opposite for most people.

Outside of our group here, where he may get the Forrest Gump treatment, most normies think he's going to be clown himself and turn off the tv if they even care at all.

Like I said I don't agree with his stance as it degrades our uniform.
