Yesterday the story was about a delay in her deployment, but when it became clear that's not true and she's already in the region they try to spin a routine visit to Souda Bay, to adjust their armaments for the mission, as an emergency stop. What will it be tomorrow, or the day after, when they leave Crete without any delays? Seems to me like someone is blowing this apparently genuine plumbing issue out of proportion on purpose.

Over the last few years, especially during the Red Sea crisis, carriers had their deployments extended to 9 months, or maybe even more, so this isn't something unprecedented.

Iran is 3 times Iraq. 2026 US army is certainly not 2001 US. And no allies want to dive into that cesspool. If US starts a war and Iran gets funding from China and Russia. They will bleed. And lose.
