Initially right as the video came out I didn’t see what I’ve seen now, I’ve seen a few videos this morning where it’s clear he is an unhinged social justice warrior. No evidence that he is a Palestine Activist? This seems like a strong statement about someone who just stood up in Congress and gave a hard core anti-Israel statement. What would it take to constitute evidence someone is a Palestine activist?
I mean, even if you agree with him, it's hard for me to see how you can say there's no evidence that he's a Palestine activist. His action in Congress is evidence!
I think for boomer and x'er conservatives, he looks bad. To the other 75% of the country, he looks like a hero using his 1A, that he fought for, and was attacked because he called out Israel.Initially right as the video came out I didn’t see what I’ve seen now, I’ve seen a few videos this morning where it’s clear he is an unhinged social justice warrior.
I still think the message that was given inside congress was powerful and symbolic. Americans don’t want to die for Israel (that’s really all he said inside congress) and you get violently removed and a snapped arm for saying that. Our government is a disgrace.
75 percent of the country doesn't care and is still at the mall buying froyo dude.I think for boomer and x'er conservatives, he looks bad. To the other 75% of the country, he looks like a hero using his 1A, that he fought for, and was attacked because he called out Israel.
Everything else about him isn't going to move that 75% against him.
True, I mean those politically involved. For those politically involved, 75% see him as a hero.75 percent of the country doesn't care and is still at the mall buying froyo dude.
This guy will be forgotten in a week.
The US actions against Iran are a war without a clear goal or success criteria. "They say that Hegseth and Rubio are 'clueless' on these issues and that chaos and confusion have prevailed in the Pentagon, the State Department, and the National Security Council: no one is accountable for anything."
Yeah, remember how everyone is still talking about that uniformed soldier who literally set himself on fire in protest of Israel? And how that totally moved the needle and made a huge difference? Oh, wait. Nevermind...75 percent of the country doesn't care and is still at the mall buying froyo dude.

This is very different. When that soldier set himself on fire, the impact of war in the Middle East was not felt by anyone in the USA. This war is already impacting prices and now has families burying their loved ones, and no one in charge can tell us why we are going to war with Iran. This is a much larger impact, due to timing.Yeah, remember how everyone is still talking about that uniformed soldier who literally set himself on fire in protest of Israel? You have identified the reasons this war is already unpopular. An attention-hungry, leftist former Marine and wannabe politician besmirching his uniform during a Senate hearing and accidentally getting his arm broken is not going to suddenly bring about some mass awakening on the Israel issue. This war is already impacting prices and now has families burying their loved ones, and no one in charge can tell us why we are going to war with Iran.
No, and I didn't say that it would. I said that 75% of those politically active people will support what he did. Him being a Muslim or a leftist will not change the thoughts of those in this 75%. Basically, I am talking about younger right-wing voters. They will likely support him, no matter what we find out about him, because his message was so strong. You have identified the reasons this war is already unpopular.
