Iran-Israeli Conflict Thread

Iran is claiming that they are not responsible for the attacks on energy infrastructure. Instead, they say, Mossad is operating within Iran and launching these drones with the intention of provoking the Gulf states affected into declaring war. It is certainly plausible, knowing what Mossad are capable of.

I imagine because they don't dare show their faces, considering the mood in Iran right now.

What protestors?

The 40,000 people Trump claimed had been slaughtered and was being repeated all over X.

I believe he means the ones that were creating chaos a few weeks back during the failed 'colour revolution', some of them having been armed by Mossad and were shooting at everyone.
I only found one video of that and it only came up when I searched Iran protestors Mossad. It was deleted 2 minutes after I posted it in discord mentioning that neat fact.

The pro-Palestinian support in Spain and Ireland definitely has a Catholic element to it, even if that manifestation is mostly cultural.

The motivations for those sorts of demostrations referred to above are more akin to the motivations you see for Black Lives Matter protests and protests to support gay marriage recognition. That's what drives those protestors not any sort of Catholicism. If you want to say there's any sort of as secularized Christian culture behind these demonstrations I would say they have more of a Protestant flavor since it's liberal Protestantism (such as that which fueled the Civil rights protests in the US in the 1960s and the Progressive movement in the early 20th century) that eventually lead to the sort of secular humanism you see on display in those Spanish and Irish protests.

Yes, they're great people for casual, polite small talk. But they're definitely brainwashed.

Spain is an interesting case. I despise how they promote feminism and LGBT values. However, even during the pandemic they essentially didn't exclude the unvaxxed from social life or work.

They have some weird law whereby no one can be forced to reveal medical information about himself. Thus, life was relatively normal for me back then in Madrid and Barcelona.

In addition, Spaniards want to be inclusive to a fault. Antivaxxers, feminists, Muslims, trannies, "Nazis", you name it, no one should be discriminated, according to Spaniards. That's what saved me during the pandemic.

Reel it in.
It's OK to discuss Spain's position on the war with Iran. But this is not the Spain thread to talk trivia.

The Kurds are not the brightest people in the Middle East, there's another Fell For It Again medal waiting for them there.

"Not the brightest" is the understatement of the year. Those dumb polish jokes people make in the west they make those jokes about the Kurds in the ME, also Yemeni's they call them what translates to "shoe".....some type of insult it doesn't translate well. If you've met any Kurds it would make sense, they are a different tier of inbred goat people. Yemenis it's more about how nasty of people they are.

Edit: haha @Pravoslavac beat me to it...

It took no less than 4 people (3 members of security AND apparently 1 senator) to pull away a former marine (in full uniform) out of a official Senate hearing, just for saying Americans should not fight for Izrael. They seem to have broken his hand (and maybe his arm & elbow as well) in the process. It seems like you can hear some bones crack at a certain point in the video. Very raw and not for the faint hearted.

Tons of differing information on whether the Kurds have attacked Iran. Seems like it's only Israeli sources claiming the attack is ongoing:

Fox News also claiming Kurds are attacking according to 'a US official' but maybe that official got his information from the same Israeli sources.

There are no videos of Iran Protestors being killed.

Not even one.

Trump claimed there were 40,000 innocent people killed.

If the US President claims something, and starts a war over it, and you can't find a shred of evidence to support it, that means it's probably a lie, a casus belli.

The media campaign could be used to force their hand.
I guess, even as we do not fight a war - they will say that we are fighting a war.
Going viral at all costs - pushing the Kurdish people into a war that we do not want to fight, yet again, on behalf of the world only to be discarded after the war ends.
These headlines are dangerous - they will give the Iranian regime a legitimate reason to attack the Kurdish people - ultimately forcing us to respond to regime attacks; which will make us participants of this war.

Looks like these are the twitter accounts providing either the best (or worst) information at the moment.
