I work with men of average, above average and higher intelligence and it's always the average intelligence ones who bash my new ideas and different ways of thinking. It's usually the 115+IQ ones who support anything new I come up with. It's why at my age, IDGAF because you can't change people. It's got to the point where, if my ideas in their innocence to better something for the greater good irritate people, then that makes me smile. In the past, even the odd 115+ IQ have ridiculed what I've done only for them to be proven wrong, so if this mentality exists in a developed society what chance do the third-worlders have?

One thing I disagree with in the video is that executives have an IQ of 125+ on average. If you look at the amount of dumb things which happen in large corporations and if you have ever met high level executives you would know its not true and defies all common sense. Most executives I have met are as dumb as a rock.
By its nature the job of being a high level corporate executive self selects for spineless ass licker yes men with no self respect or morals. Who else would engage in the level of ass kissing necessary for 20 - 30 years to become a CEO/CFO/CTO etc? Saying corporate executives have high IQs is like saying politicians on average have high IQs.
Also another thing in the video is that it looks at math scores of 13 year olds and says Asians are at the top, Whites second, Hispanics third and Blacks last and implies this is due to IQ. That could be true but it could also be that Asians study the most followed by whites then Hispanics with blacks studying the least. By the way I am not disputing that blacks have lower IQs I am just saying that they should present more scientifically sound arguments.
Also the fact that he tries to link higher IQ to having a more functional and top performing civilization is flawed. He compares black civilizations to white civilizations but doesn't take it to its logical conclusion of comparing white and east Asian civilizations. East Asians have the highest IQs according to him but he fails to point out they are still outperformed by whites in terms of metrics such as GDP per capita, etc. Yes IQ matters but its only one component. The legal system matters, creativity matters, culture matters, etc. You cannot only look at IQ in isolation. Argentina is a perfect example of this where a white country managed to turn into a banana republic.

Also there are gaping flaws in the way IQ tests are constructed and they almost always overestimate the IQ of females. From personal experience I can tell you when it comes to real life almost never is a female with an IQ of 110 as intelligent as a male with an IQ of 110. IQ tests really need to be redesigned from the ground up. I would say that in reality females are 15 - 25 IQ points lower than males of the same race even though IQ tests usually show them as only being 3 - 5 IQ points lower on average according to studies done.
I agree IQ tests need to be redesigned from the ground up. They were originally designed to find mental retardation, not genius or high intelligence. It doesn't surprise me the male competitive instinct turned IQ into a dick-measuring contest, which sort of invalidates the meaning of the tests. People make an idol out of intelligence, and I think it creates more problems than it helps. Intelligence matters for a civilization, certainly, but competitive test-based intelligence scores are pointless. My brother could brag about being genius-level because of his early IQ testing, but the testing was done because he displayed aspects of autism. Sure, he's a genius by score, but other than bragging rights (and he doesn't), that's all it ever did for him, he's never had a good job or family due to the autism.

I've got bad news for most people in the next 50-60 years. The next 50 will be NOTHING like the last 50-60.
Intelligence is not the same as wisdom, the average 15 year old boy is more intelligent than his mother, but not as wise- some right wing politician from PL.
To me the most intelligent person is the guy who can crack the hardest math problems, and then go beyond and expand the limits of what's been known and discovered.
Things like language skills, musical talent, or other types of "intelligence" I can never consider to be in the same category.

Agreed. I see IQ as being like horsepower in a car, except that a high IQ mind has the ability to process extremely complete problems that most people can't even wrap their heads around.
Sticking with the high horsepower analogy, you can have a lot of horsepower and still be a bad driver. In fact, high horsepower often leads drivers to do stupid things they wouldn't have done otherwise.
All three of the mathematicians I know gleefully took the jab to keep their jobs. Not very "smart"...

Yes, there is something called "The Intelligence Trap" where some highly intelligent people can actually be poor thinkers. Basically, without going into TLDR territory, they are smart in certain domains but have zero street smarts making them very dumb in some situations. For example, being "smart" in a lab can get you killed in the ghetto or in a wilderness survival situation. And being "smart" is of no use if you're dead due to stupidity.
I agree on all these points, but don't we all play the fool sometimes? That doesn't mean they're poor overall decision makers, right?
This is basically 99% of women. They might be good at their job if they have been doing it for enough years but they suck at almost everything else.
