Well, you answered my question, you still believe voting will change anything of importance. I have two recommendations for you, look into who the biggest donors of the GOP/Trump are. And then look up who Roy Cohn is.
Looks like in your opinion voting never mattered. Can you come up with the pivotal year? When did you get to a situation where a president can be killed with no consequences to those responsible, or when millions of unwanted immigrants are let in, artificially driving up demand for everything, without serious objections from anybody in power? Btw, in Italy the combined elite and working class mafia makes millions bringing illegals and drugs in.

Living in the 19th century you would be complaining about Irish and German immigrants undercutting wages, the 12 hour workday, or squalid living conditions in big cities. On a farm you work from before sunrise to after sunset, frequently even during the long days of summer, there are no off days, federal holidays, etc. After Eden, God said sweat would be pouring down your brow, this way the workers' parties go against the divine, looking for shortcuts. The more expensive the government, the worse off they end up.
By 1940, the working classes got everything they wanted. More than 10 years ago, a welder on a government contracted construction site would be paid almost $70 an hour hereabouts, and not in the middle of an expensive city. But minimum wage WalMart workers may be getting more than that, when government assistance is accounted for. The working class is fighting for the $15 per hour rate on one side, while you find extortion level wages for simple jobs on the other.
God divided us rightfully, when people come together there is no guarantee it will be for a good cause.
When I look at things from the bottom, I can see towns where godless, 90% white, majority working class populations, elect alien Muslim mayors, who don't touch whiskey or bacon, whose wives and daughters dress like scarecrows. No white Christian could ever accomplish anything similar in a Muslim country, or in Israel. Jews by themselves are not a threat to a Christian people who wear the armor of God, they're powerless against them. Muslims are a physical hazard in and of themselves, faith alone won't help you.
In my town the Democrat party chairman is an Irish political hack, a former union thug turned leader, a family man, who's nevertheless belonged to a gay party all his adult life, not one day of honest work in his resume. It matters to me to deny him the government salary and pension, I'll be happy if someone who at least expresses normal views publicly gets the coveted job. But since electoral roll privacy is not respected in most states, I will never register to vote, I help in other ways.
Senators were always for sale. But the corporations need them more than the other way around, so in theory politicians could be honest, like Bud Dwyer is said to have been. Will they prevent institutions from buying up residential properties or farmland? Will the income tax be repealed? Government workers fired, and/or replaced? I'll survive whether it's fascism or socialism. They will not do away with government education, or bring back child labor like I want, so that most kids could learn and master useful skills.
