Generally, this kind of thing is always done by the people supposedly being victimized. The homeowners are the most likely to have done this.
There have been times when I was pretty down and out, but I've never made anything that fits the guyslop category.

This was rented on Turo, which allows private owners to rent out their vehicles similar to the way private owners rent out their homes on Airbnb. It was rented from Denver. I've seen some Cybertrucks driving around here. Maybe I've actually seen the one that was used!
I'm doubt that the actual owner was involved, but I'd be curious to see them come forward and be interviewed.
Edit: I saw a tweet where he texted a friend with pictures of the Cybertruck he rented. He was all excited about it. Doesn't sound like what someone would do before going to blow his head off and bomb a political target.
