Descendants of Genghis Khan still going hard!
Haha I love this, Genghis Khan committed some wild atrocities but still that's one hell of a claim to say you're his blood! The fist fight is hilariously fitting!
In the west we learn about Genghis Khan sure but it's a couple pages out of your textbook while the rest of book is dedicated to Napoleon, the English empire, Rome and maybe a little Alexander the Great. In other countries half that book is about Genghis Khan....
Supposedly Khan fathered 1000s of children, and a large number of them went on to become local potentates and have 100s of kids in turn. His direct descendants ruled for 4-5 generations in a lot of places, and kept on having huge numbers of children. Something like 5-10% of people in that region are believed to be descended from Khan.
That's a lot of fist fights!
The ones that always trip me out are the oriental looking Asians in Iran, I met one once I asked her where she was from she said I was the first person in the USA who didn't look at her crazy when she said she was from Iran.
