This makes me sad. So quickly it changed in just 60 years.
Even Chicago and Detroit used to be like that. The ghettos used to be clean and safe neighborhoods with beautiful houses. Crazy to think what could have been.
Detroit in particular is depressing because it was one of America's nicest cities. Now almost the entire city looks like the third world. At least Chicago has kept some of its potential, but it has a lot more white people so that helps.
Same thing in St. Louis, Milwaukee, Cleveland. Thanks for muh diversity.

Nah, Chicago is garbage even in the nicer neighborhoods. I used to live in one of the nicer neighborhoods (3 doors away from a Cubs player). The month after we left there was a car jacking on our block. A month before I left, a police shooting an old woman. There was an armed robbery on the block days after. There was....
I refuse to go back unless necessary.
Wise post. One of my cousins was just robbed at gunpoint in Chicago, and they made him get in their car. Happened to someone else too. I tried to look up the story and the "better" neighborhoods around downtown and the north side are covered with similar crime. My brother was also robbed at gunpoint about 5 years ago.
Chicago is a joke. I wish white people would fight back, but not going to happen. We'd probably just get arrested for defending ourselves anyway.
