Donations for site hosting now open

Only 10% out of 1000....that can't be correct. That's ridiculously disappointing if it's actually correct as it would mean I'm the only one who donated anything...
Give it time my man, some of us, myself included, are boomers when it comes to managing wallets. Took my an eternity just to handle binance back in Ye Olden Day.
Tomorrow at work I'll figure out exodus though, I promise.

Don't worry, I'm sure a single non-boomer big baller BTC-bro from the crypto thread will soon swoop in and cover the other 900 from their hot pocket clearing house cache via an adobe wireless network.

It shouldn't have to come to that, it's not about the money itself I'm sure any man here can cover a thousand bucks.

It's probably more.. I don't know the actual number. I went with 10 percent to start. @Valentine will be in charge of updating it as he is our treasurer.

Instead of donations, I think it would be better to sell a banner advertisement to a Christian company. You guys could reach out to a Christian company and/or a Christian advertising network. The first step would be to set up analytics software to see how much traffic this forum gets.

Another option would be to place a banner with an affiliate link. Any resulting purchases would generate a commission at no additional cost to the buyer.

What about Cash app, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Cash (or whatever is called)? Many of the members are older and don't want to deal with crypto.

Donation can come from anybody. You can ask a friend to send it to you. Just tell him you don't have an account to send $10-$50 bucks. Or you can use your own account.

Just post the user from those apps or a QR code.

I think the goal would be reached a bit easier if there was a more conventional means to donate. I don't do crypto, and I am unlikely to go through setting it up just to make a donation, but if I could do it in a more standard way I'd be open to it.

Again cashapp does not require any knowledge of crypto to use and send btc. You simply select the dollar amount of btc you would like to purchase and input where you want it sent which is provided in the first post of this thread.....done.
