Donald Trump: Criticism & Debate Thread

Just spoke with a white guy, retired engineer of 37 years at NASA, sitting outside an election site with flyers for a Republican candidate who has a statement about supporting ICE and law enforcement at the end of his advertisement.

This man is passing them out for free in hopes of converting Democrats and thinks the line about ICE should be removed because "it inflames them."

I asked him what his candidate thinks about H1-B's and the guy didn't really know anything about them or Indians, but he did shush me when I said Indian because some voters were walking by.

Vote harder, young man. Vote harder!
Man those boomers... only a handful are redeemable.

I wouldn't have agreed with that in the past but the more I deal with them I'm finding it hard to argue with. I do know boomers who are good men, from what I have noticed the ones that grew up with hardship are the ones who are actually worth something. Unfortunately though many of them are just completely lost, I don't know what's worse the democrat liberal boomer thinking this is still the Bill Clinton era happily burying his head in the sand or the fake tough guy republican boomer who thinks saying he's "conservative" somehow makes him a special strong man.

Compare the West and the Soviet states and I think the post WW2 period proved that growing up spoiled is worse than deprived, within some limits.

That said, I also think the greatest thing about the past 300 years in the West is the improved treatment of children. If Boomers are the down side to that, it was worth it.
