I'm sick of these "opinions" never maturing beyond the same approved talking points from 25 years ago, and so are a number of young Americans.

Great, so he realizes the debt will grow. Is he willing to discuss deeper as to why importing 80 IQ people that will be wards of the state forever into the future isn't a good plan for America but is a great plan for the Wall Street elite?

As usual, you have no sense of strategy or understanding of human nature. There is no point is "advancing the conversation" when Americans still cannot grasp the talking points of 25 years ago.

When Americans realize that an exploding national debt is bad, THEN you can talk about why it is happening. But probably 70% of the country does not care about the national debt, so there is no point in talking about the why's.

"Americans" is a misnomer.

There are the boomers/X'ers, who are dying out, whom half agree with Rand and half do not, because they are simply not intelligent enough.

There are the third world invaders, who are simply here to suck the system dry and likely don't have the intelligence of caring to hear what Rand says. They will just vote to bring more of their family here and help kill off European descendent people.

And then there are the young White people, who are facing the real hell of our system and they are moving beyond what Rand has to say. Sure, cutting the budget will be nice, but you can't cut the budget on healthcare or on road maintenance, and then not have mass deportations and also a complete immigration moratorium, which I have not heard him address. Cutting the spending, when people already can't make it because there are too many leaches sucking us dry, would be like being covered in ticks after camping in the woods and then saying "well, at least I didn't waste $5 on deet".

Half of young Whites believe the money should be spent on THEM, not necessarily that there should be less spending.

And as for Boomers/X'ers who don't know what's going on: they are still a large portion of the voter base, and Rand must still talk to them. Politicians are always constrained by the level of intelligence of the population. That's just the way it works and it's a major reason why Democracy stinks.

So, point is, don't take it out on Rand because he's stuck in the same boat as the rest of us. He's trying to persuade as many people as possible before it is too late, which means normie talking points.

True, yes, if we are going to spend money, they do believe they should get a piece of the pie.

My point is, Rand's talking points hit hard 25 years ago. Today, if we cut spending, the whole system would collapse because so many are dependent on the state. The talking points now have moved further down the road, from cutting spending, to cutting people who are life long wards of the state and produce offspring who will be as well. Combined with DEI putting this country way behind Russia and China in science and technology.
