This hits with more symbolic force. Charlie represents the most polite, cleancut, and traditionally American of who would be on the side of good. The fact he has more reach than the other more far-right people matters. It means maximum spiritual trauma.
Most leftists aren't smart and wouldn't bother themselves to know the more right guys. And degrees of how-much-on-the-right doesn't matter much for them either - they spew the same vitriol at whoever they are told to. Charlie was a large easy target and provided maximum division.

This represents more or less my thinking. The media has reached a treatment equilibrium with the longstanding anti-Israel commentators. Beyond the rank and file, they don't want harm to come to these people, who they can trot out in effigy to terrorize their audience. Kirk, who did not have an anti-Israel following (they mainly run from neutral to pro), turning on Israel and bringing that following with him would strike a more telling blow than Fuentes et al continuing to repeat their message indefinitely.

If I had to guess, the “people donating” are just jew shell companies doing some money laundering. That’s where the bulk of the money is coming from most likely

The fact that Net'N'Yoohoo is responding to this is further evidence of guilt. Methinks the guy with his Charlie Kirk murals that he erected within hours after his death doth protest too much. Nobody "funded" American counter-semitism, much less Qatar, we came up with the hypothesis on our own using history and the JFK assassination as our guide.
