As parents we sometimes watch a little tv with our children, if you have any recommendations of what we could let our kids view post it here and share a little review about the show if possible.
Do not forget about Serafima, a Russian children's movie. In my parish we even organized a watch together for this movie. However do not expect the animation quality to be as good as Disney's, since it was made with limited resource.
Below is the ending for Serafima (this ending perfectly illustrates what kind of movie is this), for sure there is zero wokeism, LGBT-ism, leftism in this movie. It is perfectly based for everyone (not just children).
I suggest Doraemon for an Asian classic. The story revolves around Nobita who is a lazy, weak and slow kid, and he depends on Doraemon's assistance for everything in his life. But despite all the assistances and tools he has at his disposal, Nobita always fail. This cartoon teaches that there is no substitute for hard work. In fact Nobita only succeeds when he overcome challenges with significant effort.
Since I was a kid until now I always liked Doraemon cartoons and comic books, it is timeless and always enjoyable.
Below is the supposed ending episode where Nobita finally relies on himself and stands on his own feet:
Username definitely checks out.Since I was a kid until now I always liked Doraemon cartoons and comic books, it is timeless and always enjoyable.
I have tried searching additional info but Doraemon in English is a bit rare. Supposedly Disney Hotstar has it, but I am not sure. I have checked on Netflix but it only has four Doraemon feature films, however the one you want is the serial cartoon. I never thought this far because in my country Doraemon is even broadcasted in free-to-air TV.Do they have this show in English?
Oh yes I forgot about tin tin, I will have a lookGrowing up, I liked The Adventures of Tintin animated series, and read Hergé's original comics too.
For anyone who has children, Angel Studios' "The King of Kings" is out in theater. It is an animated biblical film that recently broke an opening box office record (for an animated film).

This is said to be really good. Unfortunately, I don't like the big head style they are using.
Hand-drawn animation is beautiful, I agree. Even one of Disney's greatest flops, 1985's The Black Cauldron, is more artful than anything we get these days. It's a shame it did so poorly, and, really, anytime they tried to branch out from fairy tale and princess musicals they underperformed (Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Treasure Planet), even if the movies had interesting elements.Yeah, I don't like that Pixar style either. Bring back the animation of old when Walt Disney was still alive.
Anything Studio Ghibli should be good. I used to babysit my sister when she was a toddler all the time, and she loved Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. My Neighbor Totoro is a good one, too.
