Why would you really want Eth or altcoins?

Every altcoin season, sure there's a handful of coins that skyrocket 10,000% over a week. If you get those right, if you really see DOGE or SHIB or whatever coming and you time the meme right, you're set. But that's true of any market, like the stock market. Chances are, you won't get the to-the-moon shitcoin pick right, you won't wager enough for it to make a difference, or you'll sell at the wrong time, and these things always crater.

It's all garbage, or you can buy bitcoin. And if you don't like that then you should stick to traditional assets, stocks(index funds primarily), real estate, cash flowing businesses, commodities, upskilling yourself/education...etc.

The utility of ETH is to buy coins on the Ethereum chain

If you are asking, why do some coins prefer to make their coin on the Ethereum chain, Ethereum has smart contracts, and some developers simply prefer to make their coins on Ethereum because it’s what they know, and they know it’s generally a popular chain, even though it has relatively high fees compared to SOL, or SUI

Apparently, the United States House of Representatives today passed a major cryptocurrency bill, he needs to get approved by the Senate and signed into law by President Trump, and this could trigger or accelerate an alt coin season



Edit it’s funny that you mentioned Dogecoin cosine. Dogecoin actually has some real utility, it is the only currency that someone can use to buy a Tesla. It is Elon Musk’s favorite coin..

And while the doge dog died in real life, the coin doge coin will live on and on and on forever
